There's a much better way to do it.

Using this process is much more reliable than using straight match heads and sand paper.

Once the primer is pressed into the case there is no need to be extra careful with the rounds, they're just as stable as normal primers.
And keep in mind these primers are SERIOUSLY corrosive, but rinsing the bore out with some water after shooting will clear out any corrosive salts, then just squirt some oil down the bore.
Chemically these improvised primers are very similar to the old school corrosive primers found in military surplus cartridges.
