The actual rifle itself is quite nice. It's a carbine bolt. You can push the trigger forward to set it to hair trigger mode.

Pricey. Consider a Howa Mini-action instead. Comes with a 10 round detachable mag as standard.

Its a nice gun, soft recoil but enough kick to still make it fun, i shoot out to 200 yards and consistently hit a 6 inch steel circle. the carbine length stock is very short, and magazines are about 50$ a piece, would rate 7.5/10

7.62 Russian has only ever been used for one cartridge.
Since the Russians only called it cartridge for 3-line rifle of 1891 the first name came from the US and they called it 7.62 Russian. The 7.62x54r name came 30 years later when the Soviets went metric.

There is no bullet that won't be somewhat affected if it hits even light brush. .223 also fits the rest of those points just so you're aware

I own one, its a great gun, real real light. Its accurate, it heats up quickish, 12 shots. I like it alot, it was spendy, haf i known howa wad going to make one i might have waited but when i got it, it was the only game in town.
The woods nice, ahhhhhh yeah im rambling, if howa is going to have one soon wait to compare, 700 bucks for mine and 5 round mags are 44-50 bucks , id have waited to compare and probably save
