The Tupolev knows it! SHOOT IT DOWN!
You might think Tupolev was soviet aircraft developed by Russians to bomb but behind this cute smile and sexy ass (aka turbines) there lies THE DECEIVAL OF THE JEW...! Remember that the USSR funded the Frankfurt school which makes up for marxists and SJWs that today brainwash the western world into destruction, it could be said that the Tupolev bombarded the WESTERN WORLD WITH WEAPONS WORSE THAN NUKES so in a sense it is a bomber and it destroyed western world like Soviet Union envisioned but in a much more sophisticated and cunning method. The Tupolev is an evil aircraft that schemes for the destruction of Lockheedshills and Boeingfags. It is behind all the problems that the western boards see in military discusssion for planes, the Tupolev and its evil smile, just look at this disgraceful Russian Jew...!!!! tUPOLEV BOMBERS MUST BE destroyed!!!! tHEY ARE TERRIBLE....!!!!
Also, communist prototype planes general.

Did the Yak 141's lift engines have afterburners?

take your meds, antman

Totally off topic but.. Does Russia have a long range bomber that is domestically designed and produced? The Tu-95 Tu-144 and Tu-160 are poor man's copies of American technology. Did they just say "fuck it" on long range bombers and focus on fighters?

You are stupid. Do your research.

This is the most retarded thing I've seen all week.

>MFW I'm ATF
>>30090446
Eh. F-35 development certainly did use Soviet experience of Yak-43 and Yak-141, to an extent. But that's not stealing, as obviously pretty much none elements of Yak-43 were directly implemented, and Lockheed would be retarded not to use any available experience with similar air crafts handed to them on a silver platter.

Yeah yeah, just remember the ruskis copied the B-29 so closely to make the Tu-4 at apparently they even reproduced a camera that was left in the cabin by the crew, all the while pissing themselves in amazement about how high quality built the aircraft was.
>>30090438
>first plane to ever successfully fly was made by Americans and had wings
>almost every aspect of any Russian plane ever made is based on American design and inventions because they have wings too
>>30090506
>Yeah yeah, just remember the ruskis copied the B-29 so closely
True. That's what happened. Is that supposed to troll me or something?
> they even reproduced a camera that was left in the cabin by the crew
Not the camera - the ashtray (which should not be there as smoking was forbidden aboard Sovet aircrafts).
> all the while pissing themselves in amazement about how high quality built the aircraft was
Not really. It was god for the time, but Soviets produced their own strategic bombers.

What the fuck

I'm confused as to what part of the F-35 development used soviet experience. Their lift systems are radically different.
>>30091916
Most likely something to do with control laws and stability analysis in vertical flight. While the F-35 is a completely different plane from the Yak-141, they do share a similar layout, meaning that Yakovlev's research for that still could have been useful.
>>30091941
The F-35 was designed via computers that aren't soviet garbage to make it more of a lifting body and increase stealth. I seriously doubt that's true.
>>30091966
What I meant was the layout it had for vertical flight. Though they have entirely different lift systems, they generally have the same layout - a main engine providing thrust towards the rear of the aircraft with some kind of supplementary lift further forward. That means they probably were similar enough in vertical flight such that Yakovlev's data on the stability and control laws would have been useful.
