The main reason for the rifle length buffer equipment is the gas system. Carbine buffer stuff (IIRC) wears the spring out faster with rifle gas since they weren't really meant to be combined.
If you start having problems, I recommend switching to an H2 buffer. It will let you keep the collapsible stock, and prevent further damage.

Actually looking at my own chart again, H3 is closer to rifle buffer weight. But it's really just a matter of preference.
Having a heavier buffer may cause it to recoil a little smoother too.

I ask because I've decided on getting one lower that passed QC and either one or two blems. I just didn't feel like getting blindsided with an extra hundred dollars or so in fees because I bought a third I have no plans on using any time soon.

And as far as the FFL fees, there are tons of places around me that do it and one of them costs only $15 so even if he does it for each gun it won't be too bad. I'm just gonna order them all tonight so in case I have to get him to fax his details to Aero I can hopefully get this all started before the long weekend. Thanks senpai.

I noticed that when I was feeling for it, the nail on my index finger would clip on the dust cover, which was pretty painful.

That was something I really wanted out of this rifle, to not have to use my support hand for any rear manipulations.

I know using your firing handle to rack the charging handle is bad technique, but it really works well with the Talon CH and the lack of forward assist.

It's normally recessed, but when the bolt is locked to the rear it pops out, right? The KAC bolt release has a rod attached to it that pushes all the way through the reciever to the right side release IIRC

The MEGA ambi release just uses an extended release pin that is twice as long as the regular one. The button is always "popped out"

Fixed or folding?

For fixed I like LMT, even though it is rather bulky, For poorfags you can chop a GI take off carry handle and have basically the same thing.

For folding, I love Stolen Valor, Matech is nice, but I feel like I'm the only one who likes them. MUBS Pro are good, the polymer ones are good for the money, but you get so much more for $30-40 more, or by buying stolen valor.

But if you just want a helmet to check the block then look into an ACH(of varying cuts) They can be had for decent prices depending on what's been put on them. And it will be a far better option than those cheap knock offs.

The helmet o had was super thick from the layering process. It was a question before we got all of the negative opinions about it from operators. Here in France millitary, everybody hates them because the glass happens to fall when exposed too long innadesert, the battery caps breaks, the springs loosen so hard that the battery won't make the optic work.

I loved my XPS2 on my MP5SD. You may consider one for a PDW, but for everything else, go with Aimpoint.

He wants me to give himself the block 30 for his birthday, so I'll do it and get myself a block 30S or maybe a 1911. I would love to get myself a Springfield TRP Operator. Or maybe a Sphinx SDP Compact.

OH AND I WANT THAT MP5 BACK FFS. Even if it's a MKE, since HK is gay and doesn't want to sell the real deal to civilians.
