After taking this picture, I realized I should've bought a Jeep or a motorcycle instead.

Current stamps:
SBR AR
Stamps in progress:
POF mp5
1990 AKS74u kit
Soon(tm):
Silencerco Hybrid
GM-45 or Tirant or Octane
>>30037286
I fucking need that AK...what did you build it up from? Did you use any kits or anything? Overall cost?
>>30037313
Did you get a good deal on the 1990 kit?
If barrels weren't so hard to come by nowadays, I would love to do an 86 kit. I would've preferred to do an 86 kit over my SLR107UR, but 7.62x39 is fun, and I knew they hadn't been imported in a long time and jumped on one.
>>30037330
It's an Arsenal SLR107UR with the barrel chopped. I've got about $1,900 into I think, including the tax stamp.
>>30037344
>Did you get a good deal on the 1990 kit?
Under $300
Entire build should be sub $1000 including stamp
Another picture
Suppressors should be removed form the NFA.
Even if you believe in BS gun control infringing upon the rights of the citizenry, you can not seriously believe that silent assassinations that do not occur are a more prevalent threat to the general population than hearing damage.
>>30037364
I'm assuming you're building it yourself at that price
>>30037330
What the fuck animal is that?
>>30037396
Nah im having it built
>>30037386
Their thoughts are that the loud report of a firearm brings attention to any discharge of a firearm. In a semi-loud environment, it would be easy to disguise the report of a firearm and the shooters position would be hard to determine.
I agree, they should be removed from NFA status (in fact, the NFA should be repealed in its entirety). I also believe that anyone willing to commit murder doesn't give a shit about having an illegal suppressor.
On the fence right now about next purchase. Thinking about finally grabbing an AK.
>>30037424
How the hell are you going to keep that under $1000 with the stamp if you're having someone else build it? Most builders charge $300-500 to build a kit. A krink barrel with the right twist rate will be costly. I believe the 1990 kits are missing some parts you'd need to buy. A receiver flat. And a $200 stamp.
>>30037439
I have a friend who works for an AK manufacturer who is handling parts acquisition and assembly
>I believe the 1990 kits are missing some parts you'd need to buy
Mine is very complete
>>30037438
Go to RD and build one
>>30037426
>Their thoughts are that the loud report of a firearm brings attention to any discharge of a firearm. In a semi-loud environment, it would be easy to disguise the report of a firearm and the shooters position would be hard to determine.
That's somewhat reasonable but if I am planning on killing rooms full of people making an oil can suppressor or stealing/buying an illegal one is probably within reason.
The firearm is still going to be making a loud report, I would argue that that the permanent hearing damage all victims and almost victims will suffer would be a larger issue than the police being unable to find a shooter because his gun makes a loud pop instead of an ear shattering crack.

Looking at the Summit Package RD collab. We managed to snag that one, and it is a pretty sweet setup. Just a lot of $$$.
Eyy it's you again.
I have octane 45 & specwar 556 in jail currently, and also waiting on form 1 for my lower for 11.5 sbr ar.
Going to build using stag lefty upper, with adjustable fsb.
Should I get usp tactical or fnx tactical?
>>30037562
USP Tactical is far more fun to play with
FNX Tactical is better if you ever plan to put an RMR on
>>30037559
Do it fag
>>30037562
Both would be awesome. The USP obviously has the cool factor, but I felt that the FNX brings more to the table for the money. I'd say you couldn't go wrong with either.
>>30037590
How is it far more fun to play with?
>>30037357
Damn, nice. I think I'm just going to be lazy and sbr an M92.
>>30037402
It's called a Tapir. It only looks like that when you look at it dead on. They actually have long snouts
>>30037624
Its HK, its just a strange feeling
>>30037670
I bought a PTR91 because it was $700. I'd rather have an HK91, but not at the prices they command nowadays
>>30037710
Forgot image.
>>30037718
>>30037710
>no paddle
>>30037745
I know, it sucks, but my MP5 clone has a paddle.
>>30037745
>>30037757
but to be fair, an HK91 doesn't have a paddle either.
>>30037286
I guess your shitposts on the Files don't get enough attention so you come here.
Fuck you.
>>30037928
I didn't even make a thread on the files for mine. I posted pictures in the appropriate threads.
>>30037996
Did I say threads or shitposts?
Is the guy who loses his shit whenever he sees an Osprey here?
>>30038039
>posting on topic content
>shitposting
Stay mad
>>30038062
I'm only mad because I got stuck with a Specwar 556. I secretly love you.
>>30038092
There's nothing wrong with the 556 specwar. Hell, I've shot more 556 through mine than 300blk.
>>30038108
Have you put it on your 107UR?
>>30037286
How has that 10.5 AR been running?
>>30038122
No. The barrel was cut short to allow me to run the booster. I know they make thread adapters for the FSB but fuck that. Stacking tolerances on an AK sounds like a recipe for a baffle strike.
>>30038133
It runs good. It's a blast to shoot (literally) and suppresses well. It's a cheap PSA upper, but it does what I need it to do.
Hello.
>>30038148
I just bought a 10.5 PSA upper too, looking forward to trying it out. Did you get the CHF barrel or standard?
>>30037286
i wouldn't regret the suppressors if i were you, but i would regret the SBRs.
>>30037438
What do you currently have?
>>30038433
Better to go with a pistol build rather than giving in to the rediculous SBR requirements imo. Then again, if the ATF chose to ban them then pre ban ones might fetch a pretty penny, like pre ban full autos
>>30038441
Typical ARs, more than a few cans, plenty of handguns.
It would be a very different than everything else I own.
>>30038385
See >>30038219
The same PSA 10.5" CHF, CL barrel. Worth the additional coin over that nitride crap.
Zero problems on my LE6920 lower and it's more accurate than I am at 100 yards with irons.
>>30038472
I'd say go for it. After I build an AR 10 I plan to add an AK to my collection. Practically every good gun collection should include an AK and AR
>>30038464
>Better to go with a pistol build rather than giving in to the rediculous SBR requirements imo.
I feel the opposite. I built up my 10.5" as a pistol while waiting for my Form 1, and it's so much better as an SBR than a pistol.
>>30037364
Wish I knew some Germans ha
>>30037438
Is that the .300blk one? >doesn't cycle with the suppressor
Fug have 19 guns needing form 1ing but am going on a ridiculous trip this summer. Maybe I'll get couple filed before 41bullshit
>>30040051
*without the suppressor
Waiting on a .45 Osprey
SBRing my calico and Auto 5 for shits and giggles.
>>30039688
I agree. An SBR is much better than a "pistol".
>>30040051
how much did those optics run you? what's the military designation for that scope anyway i've only recently even seen them
