Nobody buys new production Hi Powers because fairly nice surplus Hi Powers flood the market on a regular basis and sell for about half of what the new ones go for. However, if you want maximum cool factor, look for a Hi Power Sport with the "shark fin" style front sight and "beer can" style rear sight, like pic related.

Picked up a champion operator this week, and picked up three new Wilson 8 round mags for $25 each at a gun show today.
I've only got 150 rounds through it so far, but it shoots like a dream. These guys were also making Kydex holsters at the gun show, so I had one made for it. Feels pretty good so far.

Hello, I went to a gun show to look at the guns usually mentioned for first timers. Specifically a Glock 19. The damn thing is tiny, I'm sure it fits a european person well but I'm looking for something to fit a Texas sized hand. I believe the grip will need to be about 1/3rd bigger. What should I be looking to get?

I'm buying a new hi power just because I want one that's got that really nice bluing. If I can find a surplus or used one for cheaper I'd get one, but 90% of what I've found are usually pretty beat up.

Picked up an original SWD Cobray M11 in 9mm from '87 for $250 the other day, maybe fired once based on internals. This thing is sweet, so very sweet.
