On the whole, they would get creamed. We trained their best, we gave them tons of equipment, we know them inside and out.

We achieve air superiority within a few minutes, establish a full naval blockage within a few days, and launch Land, Marine and Airborne incursions soon after. Bombing campaigns and tanks would demolish any conventional resistance. Our SF would wipe the floor against Mexican SF. Their political leaders could not run. They would be arrested or killed.

In the countryside, we will dominate. In the over-crowed cities and jungles, they will have an advantage. There's Seawolf park which has a submarine you can look around in. Most places on the Strand are dog friendly, as are the breweries. The beach sucks on the island proper, if you have the time take the free ferry and go to Crystal beach on Bolivar peninsula, much better beach and you can light fires and brink beer. We camp out there on the beach a lot.
