out at the range last weekend i got through about one mag and my AR started to fuck up, didnt want to chamber, couldnt get off more than one round at a time, bolt wouldnt travel forwards.

took it apart and found the buffer stuck midway in the tube. got it out and found a tiny piece of spring had broke off the buffer spring and had jammed the spring and buffer in the tube.

cleared that piece and it ran fine the rest of the day.

so, aero is getting an email about that today. never seen a malfunction like it before.

So I put together my first upper. Now everything went on well, but I way over tightened my barrel nut. I didn't realize that a torque wrench has a much different feel compared to a torque driver break when it reaches the right poundage.

Now I looked up what could go wrong usually and I didn't crack any parts that I'm aware of, didn't hear anything.

So, how bad did I fuck up? Am I going to have to take it apart and retighten it? Or should it be fine?

So one of the rings on my scope mount is tight. I've tested the mount backwards and switched the tightening rings around to isolate the problem and found that pic related is the issue.

Sorry i should have been more clear. One tightens down easily, screws go in nice. The other ring i really have to nudge and press on to be able to line up the screw. And when i do try and screw it down i feel like I'm stripping the threads. With equal amount of torque, one side is screwed in more than the other.

I've looked on gunbroker, but while they have great sets there (albeit overpriced), it's all just CONUS shipping. Besides, the last time I tried to register there I couldn't. No luck on eBay either.
Krauts have lots of grips and handguards, but no stocks or the stocks are so beat up you can see the yellow filling.

Not for real use. the bucket would allow sling to slowly enlong. With a gun that weight maybe 8lb and sling tighten all the way it would loosen inch or two after i walk/run/jump or two over distance of 60yds. 60yds is nothing. I can easily travel 500yds to few miles in single range time or field time.

The latch... Opening when open not big enough and require too much fine motor imo. Then the lock for latch is all mushy and would allow latch open 1/4 of way when locked.

But sling remain perfectly functional and never had real failure. Its good enough yeah but can make you miserable. I have already gotten used to it.

My winchester sling i had with foam section that snapped on Hasty sling hold was actually better despite not having latchs.

The strap and stitching on ms3's 10/10 though
