How good is the WASR?
>>29881530
It's shit
SHIT!!!!
Probably the best non-Arsenal AK you can get right now
>>29881649
Not OP, but what would be the best AKs?
>>29881614
The old ones had a bunch of fuck ups
The newer production ones seem to be solid. Try to pay under 600 if you can.
I am pretty happy with mine though after about 800 rds it has started to FTE on brass cartridges. No problem with steel. It will FTE every brass round in a mag and then shoot a full mag of steel flawlessly. Any ideas ppl?
O-Pap, and if you can't find one, an N-Pap.
>>29881675
Best production AKs? Arsenal-converted Saigas (no longer imported), Chinese Polytechs (no longer imported), Arsenal Bulgarian AKs (except a batch with SN# XM55 with shitty finish that melts off)
>>29881530
Its good if you're not an idiot. Supposedly the newer ones are pretty decent. When you go looking for one, make sure the rear and front sight block are straight, and also make sure the gas block is straight as well. I have heard the wood furniture on WASRs aren't the best either. So buying new furniture for it wouldn't be a bad idea either.. So cost of WASR + New furniture would equal almost how much an Arsenal is worth. Although unfortunately now a days you have to look for canted sights in those as well. Choose wisely, happy hunting
>>29881675
Current production? Any Arsenal
Polytech Legends are generally regarded as the "best" AK you can buy but those are no longer imported
>>29881684
No this is shit posting.
>>29881530
It's good, just inspect it first. make sure it isn't FUBAR, or clapped out.
>>29881693
Yea pretty much, I've been a little paranoid about my SLR with the XM55 serial number. I've mag dumped and my temp gun said barrel was 500F. No bubbling luckily. Eager to see Rob Ski's updates throughout the 5,000 round trial. Hopefully canted sights and shit finish are the only issues.

>SLR-107 & USP
My nigga
>>29881530
As good as that .jpg
>>29881760
Another video from someone else with an XM55 serialed rifle showed bubbling with just a quick 3 mag dump. It was surprisingly quick how the finish started to bubble. If you got your gun hot and it didn't bubble then you're ok. It's not an issue with the whole lot apparently.

I've got an npap, I love the furniture
>>29881720
That poop looks filthy.

Its a good thing I went with molot over arsenal then.
RPK SPEC MASTERRACE
>>29881530
Good enough for their price.
Old ones without the sidemount were typically garbage, newer ones that feature them are adequate.
>>29883780
>can't make it look like an AKM without a ton of effort
Not saying they're bad, they're excellent. But converting a Vepr is a fucking pain
>>29881649
Molot Vepr

>>29883758
They found another gun with a problem. Come on, you people are grasping at straws. "Look! Here's one other gun that had a problem with it out of the tens, if not hundreds, of thousands!" Do you really think every single gun will be perfect and there will be no fuck ups?

Thank you for deflecting from the issue that stems further than just one batch of rifles.

O PAP master race here

>>29883775
what I find concerning is that this is an early 2014 rifle. gg Arsenal
>>29883758
>>29883775
source? I can't find it on his blog and I don't use facebook.
Mine has served me pretty well. Pretty good for their price.
>>29881530
For all the shit people give WASR they are some of the best cost/performance ratio AKMs on the market.
If you have desire to customize an AKM I'd recommend the WASR 10 as a good base rifle to tactical up.
If you're a normie that will probably never clean their rifle, shoot it a total of four times in the next decade and otherwise just have it sitting in a corner collecting dust, I would recommend the WASR 10.
The barrel on it is second to none in terms of it's durability and longevity.

thanks. another guy posted his bubbling after only 100 rounds and a single mag dump. I think I'm done with Arsenal. that is just way too many cases and with rifles going back a year and a half too.
Are CA M74s worth a shit?

dont buy anything CENTURY, unless its just imported by them

Iirc it was bad headspacing.
Caused OOB detonation.
>>29886948
>>29881530
If you get it for under $500 and it passes a thorough inspection, they're pretty good rifles.
>>29885506
oh no
