Post your main home defense gun and explain why you chose it.
Glock 34 with TLR1s
>small and maneuverable
>less probable that an intruder would be able to pry it away without getting shot a few times in the process
>can use free hand for lights or anything else necessary
>18 hollow points
>I can shoot fist size groups quickly at 10 yards with it
>worth less than my other guns so it wouldn't be as painful if it was lost in an evidence locker

/thread.
no one chooses a HD gun for any other reasons
Lelkek RDB.
It's literally as compact as a long arm can legally be without being NFA.
It's 5.56 out of a 17.5" barrel, which will both rekt'd soft tissue and not overpenetrate as much as many pistol/shotgun loads.
30 rounds that aren't anemic pistol caliber with the recoil of a 10/22
Can easily be handled and fired with one hand.
Suppresses phenomenally well.
In fairness I don't have one but I will if I can ever fucking find one for sale.
in case they set off alarms posted strategiclaly 100 yards out from my house

An SVT with the scope rails? How'd you find that?

>less probable that an intruder would be able to pry it away without getting shot a few times in the process
10% of all fatal shootings of police are down with their own weapons.
>18 hollow points

You have the right idea, friend
Right now I'm using a Springfield XD9 with no light for the exact reasons you mentioned OP.
But I might pick up a Mossberg 930SPX to do double duty as HD and 3 gun

They're not that uncommon desu senpai.

as i understand it the rails are pretty common, but having the cutout on the receiver for the scope mount to lock into is rare
Glock 20
I don't have one. Mines only in 480p.
