Gamo has introduced a sound dampening system that I have seen for the first time this week. I currently have a benjamin .22 air rifle and wondered about making a sound dampening device for my model. I have some questions to probe the community's wisdom.
Would a system such as this be effective in reducing the sound of the rifles already low report?
Would this device be better designed to be threaded onto the barrel or permanently attached?
Is it legal to produce items for noise reduction for non firearm products?
Should I go play with my dog one last time before he gets shot this afternoon?
