But it's good for shooting hotter loads, like .38 special+P Hollow points. Would recommend one of their .38 specials in a similar size that can handle hotter loads like +P and HP. And one without the keyhole. And I carry a five shot model 49, and it can shot +P but I wouldn't do it often from it.

But for how much I love Smith and Wesson, in the end of the day for a
Modern snubnose and on in .357 at that. Go with a Ruger SP 101, comes in 2 1/2 and 3 1/15 inch barrels. Five shots, shots .357 even in the hottest load that would blow that Smith too shit.

Just slightly off topic, I'm not OP

Guy I know offered to sell me:

A .Taurus Revolver 38 special. Looks like this M85 for $300

B. IWI Jericho 941 - didn't specify how much

I think he might try to sell the Jericho for a good amount, I would need to check out its condition before I'm sold on it. I think the revolver sounds like the best deal, but again I have to find out how much he wants for the Jericho.

You might like an older K-Frame better. I've got a Model 19 and 65 both with four inch barrels. The 65 is pretty easy to CC with its super thin grips. I'd love to have one in a three inch barrel.

If I was going new, It's hard to beat the Ruger 101.
