45 and .45 Colt are shorter then .45-70 so they fit fine and shoot out of it. Just like you can shoot 7.62x39 out of a 7.62x51 because it shorter.

I've got this old mossberg 20 gauge, the slide i guess its called (the piece that holds the firing pin) wobbles inside the gun and causes the shell to push into the inner lip on the barrel. My trigger mount is also falling out, what can i do to fix these issues?
