No. But if its what you have, its better than nothing. You can get a 12ga pretty cheap, thats what actual guides carry.

It's a good suppressor round, works in an AR with only an upper change, and uses regular .556 mags. I would rather go to .308 but I'm sure it's ideal for certain applications.

In the group we have 6 canisters of bear spray, my ak, a 12 gauge with 7+1, a Ruger AR, and a Kel Tec Su16. I think we are fine on firepower but I dont like that half of the guns are 556, don't think those are good for even cougars let alone grizzly's.

>go to thunder creek trail in WA near marble mount
>drive 3 hours there and start the hike
>about 15 miles in we setup camp for the night

>hear large creature in woods
>draw sks and chamber
>use flashlight ziptied on to look around
>see nothing
>after a few minutes sit back down and relax
>immediately hear something rushing to camp
> stand and point again
>hear "I'm going to rape and kill all of you kiddos"

I do too but you know what? Even if I killed that man I wouldn't have done anything differently, I was protecting not only myself but also my friends and my gf. I think about it sometimes but I would feel bad to have had to kill him but when its him or 4 of us its gonna be us every time. Evidence of this happening is long gone. My casings were steel and uncoated, it was too early for many people to be out there and it was so far that no one could have known of it happening. He didn't know or names because we all have nicknames (I'm referred to as Joy even at work) and my sks has since sat in my safe unused, I'm kinda afraid to touch it again it brings back too many memories of fear.
