awful lot of time spent picking stuff up. Traded broken TV's for the Iraqi and Afghan patches, stole the two SEAL jacks, was gifted a couple of the others.
Also stole the SCAR-L magazines, and the two guns and knife were free.

Damn right lol, on our Caimans we had to tighten the steering gear box after a few weeks of getting them. One of them got hit with and IED and all it did was destroy the tranny/t-case, everyone walked away from it with just ringing in the ears.

I'm so happy I never had to deal with that netting. Our camp NCOIC actually made PT belts and covers unauthorized on all compounds controlled by SOTF-S on KAF. I think I wore my helmet for a total of about nine hours over ten months.

Rat basted... I did get to work with 5th SFG in Iraq, just a detail living in their house and acting a s first layer of security. In other words " see anything on the cameras hit the alarm and start shooting " best 3 months of my life. Didn't shave and wore civies all the time.
