The ergonomics of the would leave no room for the crew. Just look out how massive that is cannon is compared to the rest of the turret. It would barely have enough room for the breech, much less being able to load it.

Nope. It's a bog-standard battlecannon firing various types of shells. >>29519693 carries an actual Lascannon in the hull - the only variant of the tank using the same in the turret uses two of them twin-linked together.

40k models tend to have exaggerated weapon sizes in general, though.

I know there's a picture detailing the internals of TEH BAINBAED which shows most of it is automated by servo-skulls, and there is actually a large comartment devoted to them: otherwise, the crew is pretty cramped. It looks like it's got a howitzer on it rather than a high velocity cannon. Unless it's at short range you should be able to arc the shots at targets below you.
