I bought the PA m4-72 severe duty and am not happy with it. It does a great job of reducing kick and muzzle rise but the concussion it throws of is a but to much for what I use my rifle for, it throws my follow up shots and has my ears ringing even through my ear pro. Does anyone have a suggestion for a brake or compensator that will reduce muzzle rise and kick but not blow my hat backwards or my ear drums?

I run it on my 16in ar and I get nearly no blowback, I love it.

Mine is 14.5 and the m4 Is great for what it's advertised for but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Going to have to have it cut off

Do you shoot at a range with your barrel under cover or behind a wall?
If not just double up on the earpro man, electronic ear muffs and those ear plugs that allow conversation but cut off gunfire. You'll be good
It's like $10 for those ear plugs man, try the cheap solution before you buy the gucci kit

Man I would except I do some training with other guys and it's blowing them out too. Ultimately making us all less effective.

just get a lesser brake man
