I agree, I don't think very many were bad at all. Those old guys from the video I shared were good examples of that, even if they seemed kind of brutal, but that's how war is, especially if you're in an army that is in the position it was.

Sometimes I'll refer to revolvers as pistols, mostly because as a kid I was an arrogant smartass about terminology. I thought that it was a razor sharp distinction between "pistols" (semiautomatics) and "revolvers". Later I learned that "pistol" can denote a handgun of any action type.

I really prefer the designation "P35" to "Hi Power", but I rarely use it just because I don't want to confuse people. I also prefer to call my nugget a "91/30", but usually just call it a Mosin for the same reason.

Anytime I see a (ahem) P35 in a movie it feels like a tiny personal victory.

I refer to my 1911 as "muh .45", I call my rifle "muh .30-06", but I never call my (ahem) P35 "muh 9mm". Go figure?
