Bubbas and fudds have nothing to do with each other even though they're often confused. Bubbas can be either fudds or mallninjas. Turning a K98, for example, into a hunting rifle is fudd, putting one into an archangel stock and adding a muzzle brake is mallninja. Both are bubba.

Would i better off getting a dedicated 2x red dot or a magnifier plus red dot?
My max range will be inside 120 yards or closer.

I'd say the bipod is one step too far but I'm pretty sure throwing scopes on larger caliber revolvers for hunting purposes is pretty common
