If shit were to hit the fan, should you take into consideration the more common types of ammo out there when picking your primary weapon?

I'd only use weatherby rounds if shtf.
Because even if the world is collapsing around us, I still want people to know I can't be trusted with money.

Look at the ammo panic that happened after sandy hook. Everything was gone.
You'd want something that was a common enough round and that is easily available, but also isn't the most popular. Honestly for a rifle, I'd want either a bolt action or BAR in .243. It's a round that is available everywhere but that not many would think about taking in a SHTF scenario. A BAR would be neat and they're reliable enough, but a bolt action would be foolproof and I wouldn't have to worry about spare parts as much as a BAR.

>LOL BAR!
It's obvious that I'm not talking about the 1918 BAR.
.22 or 12 guage

Most popular among men would be 30.06, .45ACP and 12 buck. Who cares what the sissies use.

Doesn't matter
If you think you're going to get ammo off other people after l33t operating /trade gold or some retarded shit for food and ammo then just come to terms with being part of the 90% die off come a national level disaster.
The only ammo you have is the ammo you have on you.
223, 9mm, and 30-30.
