Do it but don't get those ones get pic related. I had the ones in your pic and they're too wide and bulky and scratches show too easily with the high gloss. These ones have better grip and are a tiny bit thinner. I personally love wood grips on an all-black firearm.

I've really grown to like G10 grips regardless of how they look. They're easier to hold onto than wood and you can get some that look classy. My example probably isn't the most classy.
