There are 2 main models of Sfera, STSh and SSH, STSh is the titanium one and SSH is steel. You have the steel version, hence the price.

All helmets are relatively bullet proof, as in, they will stop 90% of pistol calibers (just not the dedicated penetrators) but nothing past that. They're not made to be bullet proof though, if you get shot at you'll still be going to the hospital even with no penetration. The force of a bullet impact is more than enough to seriously fuck up your brain.

An additional consideration you need to make is that the Russians made a Sfera helmet first, in steel and titanium and the Ukrainians also made their own Sfera.

Considering the very cheap price, and the design itself, it looks like a steel Ukrainian Sfera.

still working on my kit have all three Sposn chest rigs, Eger, Latchunik, Latchunik M, still need to buy Soviet era jack boots, lace up boots, and one pair of current/modern era Russian combat boots made by either BTK or Faradei. Still saving up money to buy gorka suits, so far I've only been buying from Ebay, I know about Grey Shop ru, which i plan to make many purchases from. I still waiting for my ZSH-1 (real one I hope, but I saw from the review that the replica ones are still made from actual kevlar or Armid but just have less layers) to come hopefully I get this Saturday.

Russian bdu fatigues, jackets, parkas, and gorka suits, I'm only buying Tibet Fleck (Chinese variant of german Flectarn but its made in Russia and not China, hopefully of Russian fabric too), Fleck-D, Leto/Partizan (both Summer/Spring and the fall/wintern patterns), Izlom, Rastr (thats if i can find it), Jaeger(clone of Finish digital camo), and Reed camo(also rare, have hard time finding it).

I also have ushankas, grey (made in Belarus), black(Splav), and a blue one.

I own size 3 (large), of PMK, PMK-2, PPM-88, and GP-7 gas masks.

Yesterday I received my Leto/Partizan camo cover for my ZSH-1.

I still need to also save up to buy two Saiga 12 shotguns (going to use the bull pup stock on one of them) and need to purchase some type of semi auto AKM rifle (Soviet or East German variants preferred, avoiding Yugoslav and Romanian Wasr both like chrome lined barrels) or semi auto version of the Izmash AK-103.
Also have three Polish 80% milled AKM receivers that I would like to build them into a Rk95 or at least something that looks like a Galil but as light as an AK103 or AKM.

It's not supposed to stop rifle rounds, it's supposed to try to deflect it. The silver plates are not armor, they are just to hold the green ones in place.

I bought one of these. The fucking locks that the helmet sticks to are made of fucking aluminum while the locking mechanism itself is steel.

So it came to me entirely sheered through. It cannot lock.

Also the visor came fractured. I'm betting you got it the same place I did. I was extremely disappointed. Otherwise it's kick ass.
