What are the best instructional videos out there? Which instructors are well qualified?
I've seen magpul and travis haley, their videos are very detailed.
I wish gabe suarez didn't go nut job
Avoiding yeager like the plague, no need to warn me
Why brah? why you avoiding Yeager brah? He's one of the best instructors out there brah! Brah don't you know just how awesome he really is brah?
Brah i mean he's got true combat expeience under his belt brah! His name is Yeager, like Jeager in Jeagerbombs! Hes the bomb brah! And a porn star wanted to look just like him brah! How awesome is that brah!?!?!?!?!
This. How do you actually shoot guns properly? I have 3 now and have had zero instruction other than randoms at the range. I've spent more time looking for DESIGNER furniture for my firearms than I've actually spent learning how to shoot better.

I really like the stuff by Kyle Lamb. His tacticool shooting seems the most simple and practical, and it's the kind of stuff I could actually see myself being able to use on deployment.

Jerry Miculek has some great instructional videos on the YouTubes. He's a world champion shooter. I watch him sometimes for tips on fundamentals and all that, but nothing can compare to real one on one training. I'm sure you can find a local range nearby that does private training sessions for a few bucks

Pat McNamara's TAPS videos are pretty solid. A little short for my taste and IMO I felt like many of his drills are better suited for intermediate shooters who are comfortable running with a gun safely.
Ben Stoeger's Practical Pistol Foundations is good shit. Has a good shot-calling segment that takes good advantage of the video format.
Jerry Barnhart has a 10 volume series that is probably the most comprehensive pistol shooting video series out there. It's pricy at $150 for the whole set but it's roughly 10 hrs worth of instruction from a national champ who's also well respected for his mil/le shooting classes. For training value per $ this might be one of the better deals, to be honest.

>How to shoot a pistol by Jerry Miculek
The above is the best video I've seen for someone learning the fundamentals of putting a round on target.
After that, it's about moving and being "tactical".
There's a lot of bullshit. I saw one that was good and can't recall. It was a swat instructor type guy teaching guys how to shoot from behind a car. You kneel behind the wheel the drive wheel with your back to it and put your head to the ground, hook your front pistol grip (if you have one) over your support wrist and shoot under the car.
Obviously situational but that kind of technical how to is interesting if the source is good. Picture related.
Maybe some other anon knows.

Also Pat Mcnamara is the fucking best, get Carbine TAPS and enjoy, best instructor.

He was going down for disability fraud, set out at night to remove the people responsible for the case against him, but changed his mind before he murdered anyone.
He's unstable, and I've heard he's an asshole not worth defending. I haven't read into the drama myself though.

Literally just read some old articles about him and his company a couple weeks ago. I was wondering why I hadn't seen anything current with his name on it. Guess I now know.
I personally enjoy the MagPul DVD's. I got Art of the Dynamic Shotgun one christmas to go with my brand-new 12-gauge at the time. That disc set made my Mossberg much more fun than I originally gave it credit for.
Art of the Tactical Carbine taught me some finer things about rifles. I'm looking forward to getting the one for pistols now that I got my 92FS. I think that as instructors Haley & Costa are a pretty good duo.
I also managed to grab a copy of Make Ready with Travis Haley: Adaptive Kalash on eBay. That was worth watching just to learn about zeroing, and I learned a new magazine swipe method I never thought of before.
any videos for fireteam/squad leader tactics?
