.50 beowulf trigger charged ar15

Will I have to do any other modifications to it? How complex and time intensive will this build be?

Pretty sure .50 beowulf will fit in an ar15 with standard mags, I thing ar10 is too large. Definitely no original ar10 charging handles for an ar15.

My buffer tube and spring are both military grade. I plan on custom ordering wooden furniture anyways. I contacted a nodak spud rep and gave him the barrel dimensions for the 50 beo and he said the front sight will fit, but im not sure.

I've been looking in to building a new AR upper that handles larger/more powerful rounds. I won't be building until later this year, but have been considering .50 beowulf... is it really a great choice for hunting/fucking things up if need be?

Hunting won't be impossible or even difficult, itso just something to think about. That drop will take some getting used to, ammo is expensive, capacity is greatly reduced.

458 runs fine with normal 223 buffers and springs, if 50 Beo is different it can't be by much, as it's slightly less powerful.

The only other thing you'll need to do is grind the ejection port so a beowulf cartridge can eject properly

Here is something to consider, it's not bad for the price in my opinion.

Also it's 3x cheaper to press your own .458 ammo than buy it outright, if anyone didn't already know that.
