Ruger Standard is one of the sweetest thing to shoot with. It's light, doesn't kick at all, overall a great gun for plinking and ratting

I actually find it somewhat amazing how this thing can manage to overcome both a firing pin block and a manual safety to fire a 5-round burst when only shaken slightly
I also saw videos of Taurus submachineguns on a police range too that would fire a burst every time they inserted the mag and released the bolt

I would be inclined to believe that, but Arisakas are known for being the most robust and overbuilt rifles of the era. Generally considered all around decent rifles. The type 14 on the other hand, is absolute dogshit and they should've just gone with a revolver until their problems were worked out.
