How are you molding your body into the perfect weapon?

>what is your weight?

>what is your routine?

>what is your military pt score?

>do you practice a martial art?

On a related topic, what is a practical martial art to get involved in?
>>
>>29287129
Also, I'm going to basic over the summer at benning, how much weight do people usually lose at basic?
>>
>>29287129
5'9" 170 lbs

Per week:
1x run LSD 6+ miles, 2x run 3-miles, 2x ruck 4-miles.
Lift 3x (Full body strength routine. squat twice, dead once) (AM 3 mile runs, PM lift)
Calisthenics on ruck days.

APFT 260, only been hitting it hard for the past couple months though. Started off hungry skeleton who couldn't run a mile.

No martial art, but usually hit the heavy bag at least once a week for some conditioning.
>>
>>29287129
My best results so far are:

> pushups: 80 something
> situps: 82
> 2 mile run: 13:48

max score is 280, but I could've done much better (maxed) on pushups (planks killed my shoulders)

>>29287302
what was your score on each section?
>>
>>29287129
come one /k/ can you even cheek wield your gun for more than 2 minutes?

why are you still fat?
>>
>>29287724
don't feel like reading how i'm full of shit even though i hardly lift
>>
>>29287749
if it makes you feel any better, if you aren't 200+ pounds, you're better than 50% of /k/
>>
>Weight
190cm, 98kg / 6.2 foot, 216lbs.
>Routine
Run twice a week (10km), swim once a week, gym mainly focused on core strength twice a week
>>
>>29287129
>what is your weight?
165lbs
>what is your routine?
Nothing special, pushups and situps for 2 minutes every other day, and I only start running when the APFT is coming up
>what is your military pt score?
Like 210 usually anchored by my situps, everything else is near minimum
>do you practice a martial art?
No

5,11" 170lbs

Daily
Hike 9miles
Jog 3 miles
set of 3x 30 set of push ups/squats throughout the day

Guy, I don't know that shit, not a mil fag.

all I know how to do well under the influence is grapple, other than that nope.
>>
>>29287788
my 200+ pounds consists of a good bit of muscle though

frankly I'm surprised I'm not fucking morbidly obese

I checked on the chart, I'm just in the "Obese" category
>>
>>29287193
Infantry school 07, gained 30 pounds.
>>

>Weight

220lbs at 5'8".

Heavy as fuck, though I am legitimately going for bearstrong mode. Deadlifts up to 445lbs with no strap, 345lb squats, etc. I won't lie that I eat like crap and definately want to start cutting once my schedule for work allows it in a few months.

I still try and get cardio in the form of battle ropes, burped, and clean&jerk. I go on a hike with a ruck every other week innawoods as well to make sure I'm not a immobile curl bro.

>Routine

The core was SL, but I've built off it and included things from different routines. It's a 6 day a week routine, with 3 days being for heavy lifts. Deadlifting, squats, and compound lifts are the core of what I do.

>Martial arts

Did some wrestling in HS, did Army level 3 combatives, and picked up some stuff from randoms. I don't do martial arts currently, though would like to find a good place.
>>
>6'3" 220
>modified Greyskull LP 3x a week

>bench 3x5 at 230
>squat 3x5 at 285
>deadlift 1x5 at 385
>power cleans 3x3 at 210
>started running a mile after my sessions a couple weeks ago.

So far I've slowly worked up to a 7:30 mile. Far from fast, but I'm slowly increasing the speed every time. Haven't run consistently in like 4 years.

>no military
>no martial art. Though I've wanted to kinda try boxing.
>>
5'8" 169lbs

Block periodisation with cardiovascualr endurance, strength, and strength endurance blocks. Strength sessions are usually an A/B barbell split, weighted calisthenics, or advanced gymnastics progressions. Cardiovascular sessions are just a broad range of methods but cardiac output and threshold training make up the bulk of it. Running, cycling, rowing and soon to be swimming again. Strength endurance is just a shitload of different protocols - isometrics, tempo method, explosive repeats, pyramids etc.

PT score:
Metronome push ups - 60 (max)
Metronome sit ups - 60 (max)
Metronome pull ups - 12 (aiming for 16 to max out)
1.5 miler - 9:30 (had to take a break from running because of compartment syndrome, aiming for 9:00)

Currently do Judo, used to do boxing.

Britfag Potential Officer here.

Coming down from 260+lbs in June '15

>height/weight
6ft 1in, 219lbs

>routine
Mainly just running. 3-4 miles a time, 3-4 times a week. Don't do much gym stuff which is ironic because I work in one.

>PT score
Dunno, we use a different system but my last test I did 57 pushups and 64 situps in 2 minutes each, and 1.5 miles in 11:04.
This is a huge improvement on 14:35 in December.

>Martial Art
Nope. Do play rugby when I can though.
>>
Not to be a total shill but check out strongswiftdurable.com

Basically the guy started doing fitness development for mountaineers and military types, then sort of combined them. A lot of programs and information about working out with what you have and not locking yourself to a gym.

>On a related topic, what is a practical martial art to get involved in?
Judo is good, the conditioning work will keep you fit and you can end a fight pretty quickly if your opponent is not trained in grappling.

I'm
>5'10
>160lbs
>okay-decent shape overall

I haven't been exercising for a while because I haven't felt like it and because most exercise is too routine and boring for me. I wanna buy a cheap kayak this Spring/Summer and row a lot because I fucking love that shit like dogs lime tennis balls.

I don't live under the delusion that I'll ever operate operationally, as fun as it is to daydream about.
>>
>what is your weight?
6'5, 262lbs
>what is your routine?
walking 5 miles a day and cutting my calorie intake by 30%, when I lose more I'm going to start running every other day
>what is your military pt score?
dunno
>do you practice a martial art?
nope

53lbs lost so far, 45 more until I can join. I'm losing 2lbs per week so only 5-6 more months
>>
>>29290391
*like dogs like tennis balls

Fucking auto correct.
>>
>>29287129
178 cm 81 kg
one day calisthenics&running
one day running
one day weights
one day running
one day mild calisthenics and a short jog
rest day/swimming if i find the time

i'm enlisted so there's some changes in the training scheduel here and there, some field weeks, some navigating, some stretcher runs, a ruck march here and there

p. nice over all, calisthenics are p. much all you need desu, i find weights to be nice for some secondary training but not too much

Idk, never have calculated it

6'2" 202lbs

Started with Stronglifts and then added accessory lifts over time, still on an ABA / BAB schedule with 2-3 mile runs after lifting.

2 mile run in 15:50ish, 60 push ups, 69 sit ups

Nope, though I have taken combatives classes in the military but that doesn't count for much
>>
you got to ruck march.

if you can't go 12 miles a day with 100 pounds of stuff. then you aren't going to be able to operate.
>>
>>29287129
5'11" 144#

Daily routine is a lot of calisthenics you'll find in gymnastics. Some with weight resistance some without and generally a couple of miles run.

Couldn't tell you a military pt score.

Did your basic tang doo do crap for about ten or eleven years. Moved and ended up switching to Kali and King Fu on alternating days. Moved again to wudang China for a few years to study traditional wudang kung Fu moved back about two years ago and I've been teaching it ever since.

Practical martial art would be anything that presents itself as a survival skill instead of a lifestyle or a sport. Don't play the mma game and you don't need something that's a lifelong devotion to the art. You need something that's immediately useable. I only know what I do and what I've done and of that I think Kali is the most practical.

I have 6 months left, getting put in a shitty job with stupid long work hours and a lot of computer shit has taken a toll on me like I never thought it could.

Can't find the motivation to go back to the gym, maybe I will when I get out.

5'10" ~160lbs
I lift, run, swim, and cycle
I want to put on more muscle, so I need to be eating more than I currently do
>>
>what is your weight?

235 lbs @ 6'1"

>what is your routine?

Lift weights twice a week, calisthenics one day.

>what is your military pt score?

army apft is 140, running score is almost zero. I've always sucked at running, and I don't do much cardio currently.

>do you practice a martial art?

Not currently.

>explain yourself

The last job I had really boned me on fitness. I gained 35 lbs and my apft score went from 220 to 40. After I left I was able to start a gym routine again and eat a lot better. Lost 10 lbs so far.

I could do a lot more, but I don't want to push it and get discouraged. Just trying to make working out part of my routine again, and get started on some functional fitness/good eating habits.
>>

135lb
I walk the whole 1.2mi to work as often as I can (I know that's not even remotely far)
I don't know, how to measure? I'd probably barely pass, ir fail hard one part while pushing the rest, barely.
