1. where's the best place to get a nugget and milsurp in general? southwestfag here so gun shows suck and most all stores are either full fudd or full tacticool, what do
2. how hard is it to find gallery/low recoil loads? I fucked up my shoulder pretty bad a year or two ago and I really want to be able to enjoy the gun without being totally crippled for the next 2 or so days.

I'm seriously considering buying a 1900 year izhevsk or a 1915 year izhevsk m91 Mosin Nagant which will cost me a total of 530 canadabucks including shipping and taxes (for individual rifle). I'm still waiting on the pictures of the condition f the rifles, but I know that they are Finnish capture with original Russian furniture (but with swivel slings) and the 1900 one is counterbored. From one side it seems like a huge waste of money when I compare it to a cheap surplus nugget which I can buy for just under 200 (already have one), from the other side, it seems like a pretty decent deal when I compare it to the price of ex-snipers and sniper reproductions. Also considering that nugget prices are slowly creeping up, I think that it will be somewhat of an investment too (not because it's a nugget but because of its age). Ultimately I have this fetish to own a really old nugget but I'm not sure if it's worth my syrupdollars.

I can't say for sure but on the west coast you only have access to m91/30s for 179.99-199.99 (before taxes and shipping), specifically hex receivers go for upwards of 239.99.

Private sellers online usually list their rare nuggets for insane prices and are in general uncommon to find in online listings

Finns used M39's up til the 70's in different capacities, especially training. Some rifles assembled after the war were issued.
