Yes you can. To my understanding there are two different P229 magwells, the standard P229 in 9mm is the exact same as the P228, where-as the .40/.357 magwell is slightly larger. I have heard the mags will still latch correctly they are just loose. The new 9mm P229's come marked as P229-1 on the magazines, because they all use the wider .40/.357 magwell now.

You'll get different answers depending on who you ask. In my opinion the older Sigs with the carbon steel slide balance better than the new stainless models. To add to that, the P228 is pretty much the perfect size, weight and balance for a duty size handgun. Not to mention the reliability is pretty stellar as well. So in short it's not as bulky as a P226, and balances better than the P229.

A "real HEMI" does not exist period, none of the hemi engines are a true hemisperical head engine. What makes a hemi is the design of the head, which is not a wedge head like everything else. A HEMI has two canted valves that open into the cylinder and a centrally placed spark plug. Now does the 5.7 and 6.1 and the 392 have those qualities? Yes and that is what makes them a hemi. It is the position of the valves that makes the hemi a hemi, with the valves in the position that they are in the heads can out flow almost all other cylinder heads and that is what makes power.

I have owned two 6.1's, and a 6.4, they all use twin plug heads. Also the valve position is nothing near what the original "Hemi's" were. You can keep going, but Chrysler engineers are on my side with this one.
