Ammo prices are retarded, But reloading is enjoyable, and it would be plenty easy to load up 50-100 rounds every couple of months/year to bring the old fellow out.

I have yet to shoot mine, I need to save up several hundred dollars so I can buy up a lot of dies and bullets/powder/primers since No one locally carries the stuff and the hazard shipping prices are retarded high.

Luckily enough, I can load my m1903A3, Lee Enfield, Arisaka, and Mausers with the same powders and primers (IMR 4064) and LR primers.

The Lee and Arisaka also take the same weight and diameter of bullets.

I have some lee 3006 "ultimate" and 9mm dies coming in soon from midway, nearly 20$ cheaper than Amazon for the 30-06 dies so that was cool. up until now all I have loaded was .38 special for my model 10 so it will be quite the change. going to a picky semi auto pistol round and a round with a case neck to worry about.
