Semi-auto Ohio Ordnance BARs cost ~$4500. Even NFA fully transferable aren't that pricey, around $15k-$20k. Compared to some machine guns, that's cheap and fully within the realm of possibility if you hold even a decent job.

Once you start getting into transferable M60s, MG42s, and miniguns, then you're getting into the "I will (probably) never be able to afford" range.

You want a full auto BAR? Good. Start saving for it. Instead of getting a $30k car, get a $20k car instead. Make sacrifices in other parts of your life.

If you can manage your money, nearly anything can be within reach. It's just a matter of how badly you want it.

Unlike OP, that is legitimately impossible because of current weapon laws. Well, unless you want to become a FFL 07/SOT 2 which would cost more than the gun itself. Even then, you wouldn't personally own it, your FFL would.

I bought a PS90 is hopes that one day the registry will open. Maybe one day, anon, maybe one day...

I'm not SBRing it right now. I want to wait to see how Hollis vs Holder and the GOA's lawsuits play out. If the registry opens, I'll register it as a MG. If both lawsuits fail, then I'll SBR it and get a griffon armament P90 flash hider and their 5.7 short can. It's more or less a classic style with a QD mount for their suppressor.
