My tailor just repaired several ragged and split seams under the liner and he pointed out several more that will likely fail in the future.
Never had anything like this on any of my US gear, much less a Golden M65.

I got that medal from a guy that does estate clean outs. Someone dies the family goes in takes what they want and whatever is left goes to this guy so the home is emptied and can be put on the market.

Had the family of the soldier not sold the remaining contents to the picker this medal would have gone to the land fill.

Is this piece of history worth more in the hands of a collector that will appreciate it than in the hands of the family that gave no shits?

It's obviously not the same situation of Telybro with his karst, as uniforms actually exists in S2000, but I still just wanted to goof around with making trench caps and boonies and shit if I ever get around to finishing it, let alone getting it printed.

Yeah, garrison dress would be sweet, I was also thinking that prototype blue-violet urban Romanian fleck.

Luckily, it appears to just be a re-color of normal fleck, which is ever so slightly easier to find. There's a listing of it up on ebay right now, but for MUCH more money that I'm able to spend.

That one is a prototype urban pattern, of which I've only seen three-ish sets of on any records and archives, two of which the prices weren't disclosed, but $440 for an obviously rare item in this pattern seems about right.

It's also the first coat in that pattern I've seen, as the other 3 sets were just pants, a field shirt, and occasionally a field cap.

I've seen 15-20 other sets of the normal patterns/colors go for anywhere from ~$75 to ~$125 depending on condition, nearly all coming from sellers in Romania, which means about $30-$40 shipping. (All in American Pesos)

Hey Spook, I took a look at the S2000, I found a repeat in my trousers, measures 36 5/8".
It's pretty big. I wasn't able to find a horizontal one, you'd have to ask Telny, he's got a rain poncho that is basically a big square, he should be able to find one provided the size on it is not inflated.
