I have a p14, rough really old sporterization, rebarrelled in 1916 but missing whedon repair standard stamps, got sxs stamps and funnily enough its original regimental disk.

Is your bolt hand all the way down? Sometimes with my No4, if I pull the trigger and the bolt handle is not 100% all the way down the firing pin will not travel all the way and lock the action up. Be sure that the chamber is empty though, mine will let the firing pin free and fire.
