Bullpups are a meme

They offer no significant advantage over short barrelled conventional pattern rifles due to advances in barrel and ammunition quality

Their cons (short sight radius, extra bulk/weight, bad triggers, lack of fully ambidextrous features) and other subjective criticisms of bad ergos and difficulty reloading while prone present even more problems along a solution that was meant to solve a nonexistent issue

To be fair, the shortened sight radius isn't really much of a problem becasue the majority of militaries are moving to optics being standard in infantry rifles and the bulk and triggers can be trained out.

QBZ is accurate and reliable but they made some retarded decisions otherwise.

- Mag release button is tiny and on the right side of the magwell
- Safety is a fucking dial that has to be turned 180 degrees, and is on the left side of the magwell
- Only thin plastic between your face and the action of a Chinese rifle
- Lower handguard and pistol grip are one piece of plastic, which wobbles
- Optics a disgusting height over bore
- Variant designed specifically for the Canadian market still has a proprietary Norinco optic rail. Whoops.
- No provision for accessory attachment elsewhere
- No bolt release button
- Bolt holds open after the last shot, but if you want to hold it open without a mag you have to reach up inside and engage the little lever while holding the charging handle back
- Charging handle is in an annoying position

Hey, bullpup-gen, why isn't this layout used more in marksman rifles? I can only name WA2000 and SVU off the top of my head.

You'd think it could be beneficial to stuff a longer barrel into the rifle without actually making it less compact.

Your opinion means nothing to me. The m1a with the sage chassis looks cool as hell and has been a dream gun of mine since I was a kid so I bought one. Sub moa never any kind of malfunction and it's a pleasure to shoot. The tavor in my opinion is a very nice rifle. Great for pretty much any purpose. And my eotech has never let me down. I have no intention of going to the Arctic or the Sahara in the same week so my eotech suits me just fine. And besides I love video game guns so sue me.

I shoot both long guns and pistols right handed, but can only shoot with both eyes open with my ar and red dot. Or with pistols when i cross over and use my left eye. I know my pistol stance is "wrong" but it works for me.

My CZ P-07 has a far worse trigger. The AUG's trigger is so weird because of it being designed as a progressive trigger, but then being gimped to semi-auto only. I'd really like to try it with a full-auto trigger pack and it would probably be a lot more pleasant.

That being said in the original video geissele said it took 5 drops to the barrel to cause that.

Still just when I get content with a carbine I see shit like this, my wallet doesn't need me searching for a tavor replacement right now.
