This shit is retarded. Lights and rails completely kill the aesthetics of the 1911, which is the main reason to buy one in the modern age outside of the trigger. If you must put a light on a pistol, why not make it a glock or usp or something? Almost every gun in this thread looks like hot garbage.

What is the most cost-efficient functioning compact 1911.

But I am worried about functionality, which is why I would never use a 1911 for a serious defensive/tactical application. That's not to say they aren't wonderful guns, but they suck at those kinds of things compared to modern pistols.
