The picture you have shown is not an XDs.
The XDs is the single stack subcompact.
>>28258721
you simply realize one is a knock off of the other
m&p shield. There you go. Lazy answer for a lazy question
research them, fingerfuck them, and shoot them. only real way
unless you go for an h&k, most other polymers are just glock knock-offs
>>28258734
Thats like saying a sig 226 is just a knockoff 1911 because they both have metal frames and are hammer fired.
>>28258765
>single action single stack .45 vs double action double stack 9mm
>>28258792
Yes, it is retarded to say they are the same.
That is the point.
>>28258765
a lot of modern automatic pistols are derivatives of the 1911
but I agree with the other guy that a lot of striker fired guns are imitations of the glock, rather than derivative weapons
>>28258730
Which one of these is the XDs?
>>28258834
None.
None of them are an XDm either.
>>28258830
Xd and m&p are derivative.
>>28258834
>no 10mm auto
one thing i really don't like about a lot of the striker fired pistols is the high bore axis, especially in a subcompact
glock actually has a decent bore axis, which is why its usually my recommend for a subcompact. most comfy to shoot/use, unless of course you want to go balls to the wall and get either an hk p30sk or a walther ppks
otherwise just get the glock son, you'll be much happier
>>28258972
>you'll be happier with glawk
No
I'm happier with my XD than with my Glock or my XDm
>>28258963
>meme calibre
cry more assfaggot XDDDDDDDDD
>>28258721
I'd go with the one that won't get me killed in a gunfight because my arm got injured and I wasn't able to engage the grip safety.
>>28259007
different strokes
but i thought we were discussing subcompacts here, then you go talking about an xd; like wut
>>28259032
They both have a grip safety...
>>28259057
Wut.
>>28258963
>10mm meme
>>28259057
>glock
>grip safety
Are you retarded?
>>28259057
Damn, this is a cringe comment.
>>28259032
I've never seen an arm injury that would force you to hold the bottom inch of the grip with one hand and pull the trigger with your other hand.
That's about the only way you could attempt to pull the trigger without engaging the grip safety.
>>28259057
>>28258963
Eh, I'll bite, yea they don't have 10mm, but 10mm will preform pretty much the same as 40s&w in compact pistols, except it will have excess muzzle blast. 10mm only shines when you're doing two things.
1. Shooting from full length or extended barrel.
2. Using quality 10mm ammo like Buffalo Bore or Double Tap.
If you don't plan on shooting full size AND using full power 10mm ammo, then just stick to 40s&w.
>>28259302
Not true, I've chrono'd 10mm out of my compact G29 and it's less than 50fps slower than out of a G20. Significantly more energy than .40 weak & gay.
>>28259195
This
Though that being said i dont like the way the xd feels as far as grip safety being a hassel to engage.
>>28259431
Really, hmm, learn something new every day. How's the muzzle blast compared to the G20?
>>28259539
Eh, noticeable but nothing crazy. Had to get used to the kick of the G29 using hot 200 Underwood hardcast (compared to my daily carry G19), but it's manageable once you get used to it.
>>28259431
Also ever thought of putting a 9x25 barrel on that G29? Bet it would be ridiculous to shoot with all that muzzle blast.
>>28259577
Hah, maybe for the G20 but don't think it would be very pleasant in the G29. I keep the G29 exclusively as a woods/hiking gun so I have a KKM barrel and 200 grain Underwood hardcast loaded up.
>>28259601
I carry my 20 inna woods myself. I really do like the 9x25, definitely catches people's attention at the range, you have to shoot rifle rated plates if you shoot steel, especially with the lighter high velocity rounds. That shit will crater or even punch a clean hole through weaker plates. The 9x25 would be a wonderful carbine round.
