That's about what I thought. There were some fucking deals today. A RIA M1903 went for $375, a M1 Carbine went for $500, and 1941 P38 went for $700. Shit a guy bought three eotechs for like $60. I missed them otherwise I would have scooped them up. I bought some old surplus steel core for my .30-06 for $12. You think they're safe to run in my BAR Safari?

I traded a Star Super B and 250 rounds of 9mm for a nicely sporterized Arisaka and a mechanically sound SMLE MK III.

Yes, the SMLE came with state of the art scroto-grip features, I intend to return the rifle to its WW2 configuration.

Which funny enough, this rifle actually has provenance.

Heres a protip from /k/'s resident auctioneer.

Go to AuctionZip.com this is a web portal that hosts listing services and simultaneous bidding options for smaller "country" auctions. Search for firearms and use the tools available to check whats near your zip code.

Most small auctions who use AZ will at least list "firearms" in their sale description. Be sure to check at keast once a week because many list their sales only a few days in advance and lots of old style country auctions happen on a weekly basis.

When you see something you want, calculate an amount to bid and do not go beyond that amount (dont forget to factor in buyer's premium).
