You don't have to use the scope just because you have it. You can just keep it under the shoulder in CQB.
>>
>>28052354
Stop being a faggot. There are AK mags that are shit too.

Personally, I think drums are only worth it for relatively fixed perimeter defense, it's too fuckin heavy to have on the gun all the time.

Now, on the other hand, if you're on bipod or on some sandbags and supposed to guard a chokepoint or line, then why the fuck not.

But like for 'fleeing the engagement area on foot' or 'salvaging for supplies' (which I would assume are the primary things you might be referring to as weapon necessary tasks in some kind of civil disturbance) I would say a drum would be a really bad idea in terms of weight and reliability 'on the go'. Normal mags are better, also you can easily carry more 'normal mags' in a tac vest/pc than drums

If you're sitting on your roof holding off rioters, then sure drum's good
>>
>>28052256

Not very

They don't work.

Just get 3-4 pmags

Well it depends....did you shell out the $300 plus for it, or did you buy a knock off?

Thanks for using a trip, it lets me know to just go ahead and discount your opinion.

>>28052530
Are you implying that you can not mag dump with 100% center mass in to a human sized target at 30 feet?

>>28052683
>Want to know how I know you're kebab?
I am not talking about holding your weapon above your head and spraying wildly at imaginary targets 500 meters away.
I am talking about CQB, that is why i used the word CQB in my post.

you're a professional door kicker?

>you're a professional door kicker?
I was.

But even if you aren't its not hard to do for an average size male. You just put it under the shoulder. Unless you are this guy and use that gun you shouldn't have a problem with it.

Tired of hearing people saying that full retard and hip firing isn't valid. It is, it just depends on the situation.
If you just practice a little bit you can easily hip fire an m249 at 100 meters. Once you are accustomed to it its not even hard.
>>
>>28052942
I find it hard to believe that a professional door kicker can't tell the difference between a scope and a red dot.
If you're nogunz, just tell us, friend. We'll give you advice on buying babbys first .22.

You never have to reload but it's only available after the first run and counts as a special item.

And i agree with this guy >>28052504
If its something like a family defending a house against raiders till would make perfect sense. Especially since it would allow non operators to contribute greatly to the homes defenses. Just give it to some one and tell them to point it at people and pull the trigger. But for people that train on mag changes it wouldn't help much. Maybe it would even lower your volume of fire since mag changes would be awkward as fuck with it.

And i wouldn't use that mag on that gun and with this accessories. Something like pic related would make a lot more sense.

And unless you buy the high quality shit then don't even bother. The cheap generic shit is unreliable as hell and nothing more then a range toy.

I never said it was a RDS. I just told a guy that thought it was a scope that you don't always need to use a scope just because you have it.

wasn't a RDS*

A weapon isn't very effective when you have to slam it against the ground every couple of seconds

Are you for real?

What did you guys do when you where clearing rooms or walking around in the bush and had targets pop up 30 meters in front of you?

Its SOP to do it at close range.
