I'm looking to buy a top notch gun safe for a decent price. Does anyone know where to look where I won't hurt my bank account. It doesn't have to be pic related but I want decent space in it

Ft. Knox custom safe is top of the line but only for $10k+ of guns and on a concrete slab you can bolt it on.
For apartments you can't put bolt holes into buy cheap shit and pray.

Just make sure the bottom is fully welded, not tackwelded. If it's only tackwelded burglars can just tip it, which rips the bottom off and give full access

First of all, not all gun "safes" are safes. 1/8 inch sheet metal isn't a safe... it's a metal gun cabinet.
Personally, I hate metal gun cabinets because they're hideous. I much prefer a nice wood gun cabinet.
But if I were to get a safe, I'd get a REAL safe, not some Safari, Stack On, Big Horn, or some other junk brand.

Not OP, but eventually, this is what I'll go for, myself. Until then, a Stack-On safe will have to do. It's not great, but it's better than nothing, and it certainly beats the cheapo cabinets.
