If supplies run short

>drones set waiting, ready to use

>dinosaurs start eating everyone

I can't imagine they'd be a great investment
>>
Honestly?
Probably not very.
It's very unlikely that a lot of dinosaurs had pack instinct.
Especially Velicoraptors. I mean hell when have you seen a desert dwelling animal hunt in packs?
And extant dinosaurs would have almost no potential. Armoured Cassowary? Assult Kiwi? Rocket propelled hummingbird?
I think the closest we ever came was pigeon guided bombs.

They can move a lot better than some shitty RC car. You can probably clear out dune coon caves pretty well with them too, but then again you could fill those caves with white phosphorus and be done.

Considering the amount of money we spent trying to radio control a cat, I'd say very useful.

If they ever saw use, it would be looked back on as a novelty. They could have a use, but I don't think they could be used like Private Pyle suggests. Raptors can't identify civilians, probably wouldn't recognize traps, and probably wouldn't have been as durable or smart as they were shown in the movie, even if we were to use Utahrators instead of Velociraptors. Unless we had the technology to fully mind control the raptors, it probably wouldn't be a very viable option. Even if we could, drones would eventually catch up and surpass their effectiveness, if they haven't already, and in the end be much more cost effective and humane.
