Sup /k/, I am looking for decent air warfare movies, not necessarily focused on it, it can be just a background thing. Old or new, I don`t care.

Also, something for you guys - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjXr9Nj5ZbI
I found it nice.

Battle of Britain.
Midway.
Tora Tora Tora.
The Tuskegee Airmen.
The Flying Tigers.
Memphis Belle
Pretty sure there was a Korean War one with John Wayne and jets, but I can't remember the name.

the fact that you posted anime shit leads me to believe you wont be interested in real aviation movies at all, and will probably grow bored with them, and immediately go back to masturbating to hentai after 5 minutes...

but in additon to these
>>27957227

Dark Blue World
Catch-22
The Dambusters
Squadron 633

>hurr durr I'm a superior form of human for not having the same interests as another random fucktard on the internet.

There's usually a direct correlation between someone's interest in anime/fantasy and complete disinterest in things that are real/factual/historical

Just as someone who mutilates animals for fun as a child would probably equally enjoy doing the same with people as an adult.
>>
Dark Blue World sounds like the biggest pile of crap.

The friendship of two men becomes tested when they both fall for the same woman.
>>
>>27959413
Whores drive men apart all the time. m8

Into the White
>>
>>27959505
Not really aviation more about friendship and survival but a good movie nonetheless

Area 88 OVA is pretty good.

Both subbed and dubbed are on YouTube.
>>
By far, Red Tails is the most accurate representation of aerial warfare in the Second World War. Using their superior P-151 fighter jets, the Tuskegee airmen trounced the inferior ME-109s, as in real life. The ACMs were clearly well researched and well portrayed with striking accuracy.
>>
>>27960912
Dont forget how they showed the superior flying skills of the African American airmen who were oppresed by the inferior racist White airmen
>>
Red Baron 2008, available on Netflix

Complete shit historically, but great WW1 airplane porn.

HOW HAS TOP GUN NOT BEEN MENTIONED

Top Gun is always implied.
>>
>>27957137
I enjoyed that
>>
Not OP but is there any good jet dogfighting/air combat movies besides top gun. Haven't really found anything worth while.

How does anyone even manage to be this triggered by Chinese cartoons?
Doubly so if you're a big enough pleb to recommend crap like Dark Blue World.

It's what happens when you mistake a popular genre for the actual medium that genre is made in.
>>
Fighter pilot: Operation Red Flag

Overall, it wasn't very good. But the flying scenes were pretty cool. Unfortunately, it's got some gay narration, and everything is staged.
Even the slow-mo gun run, and bomb run were staged too.

If you're down for an anime, Battle Fairy Yukikaze is pretty kickin'. The cockpit noises and radio chatter were all recorded in Japanese F-15s. The ACM isn't as dodgy as you'd expect, either. Also the titular battle fairy is just an AI on board a plane, there's no mahou shoujo stuff here.
>>
>>27963841

Problem is Yukikaze is shallow as a puddle on asphalt

They weren't creative in a knowledgeable manner at all with the fight scenes either
>>
>>27957137
That video is like playing Warthunder against Russian kids, except theres less dogfighting, and more ramming/angry screaming.
