Taking my M91/30 to the range for the first time tomorrow. I need some targets to shoot at to see if Ivan's 75 year old zero is still good and too see if it is me or the rifle that sucks.

Also dump any other printable or other targets for any gun.

Dude you're better off just learning where to aim than banging on your front sight post. I know if I hold just left my target I hit it every time. I can print a solid 4 inch group at 200 yards from the bench. it's a 1942 izzy and the elevation adjustment works very well
>>

that group was also with the heavy 200 grain surplus ammo

Get a bench, bag it down, fire 5 rounds at 25yards at 5 different targets to get a good idea of how. Congrats, 250 m battle field zero.

IIRC most Nagants were battle zeroed with the bayonet attached to 300 yards slightly high. The idea was to teach soldiers to aim for the enemy's belt buckle to achieve a center mass torso hit.
>>
>>27948569
This happens because the front post, being zeroed with the bayonet, hangs off to one side (forget which one). Look at it from the muzzle and you'll see. Not hard to zero.
>>
>>27948569
Are you seriously asking how to zero a fucking gun?

Dear lord what is wrong with this place? Fuck its an M91/30 so you're adjusting what, just windage?

fucking bang on the front sight post til the bullet goes where you want
>>
>>27949691
I stuck an 8" steel plate at 100 Yards and if i was hitting it then it's zeroed enough you don't have a precision rifle there man it was made to hit a human target from 50-300 yards away
