I find it very sad that it's nearly impossible to find a pixiv artist that accepts commissions. I dont know if it's because of laws or paypal or they dont want to deal with gaijins.
But does anyone know of any artists on PIXIV that accept commissions?

Jap artists work differently than westerners. Instead of drawing something for one person, they'd rather draw whatever they feel like drawing themselves and then sell it in the form of doujinshi, artbooks etc.
A much more efficient method.

Tons of mangaka just draw doujins for whatever is currently popular though. I mean, it's easy money though so I can't blame them though.

Try checking for artists with their own odaibako link too. While it may not be a commission, you can make a request through it. If they have one then maybe they'd even be willing to accept a proposition.
