I started going for Ultimate around Garuda (so 3rd week of KamiPro). I was around 20k attack I believe (still had difficulties, with himes dying and barely finishing - whereas now I can just auto any ultimate, having 40k power).

Rank and level are no real indicator of how good or bad you're doing. Just focus on one element initially (I went with light - even knowing that it's among the weakest element - because of Sol. If you want power, aim for fire/water/dark himes when rerolling). Then gradually build your assault weapon grid by spamming the disaster raids.

Yes, if you got the patience to reroll, 2 is great (3 is pure luck/autism, especially for all of them to belong in the same element).

Here's a couple indicators :
Water : Anything really, all of them are amazing. Aphro/SSR Nike + Ryou are your best bet.
Fire : Svarog + Amaterasu
Wind : Cu Chulain + Gaia
Light : Don't. (or if you really want to hurt yourself, Sol + Michael).
Thunder : Also don't. (Thor/Tyr + Raikou)
Dark : SSR Amon (a must) + Susanoo

And in other news, Kamihime's UI got an update, Guild Orders are apparently implemented, and the new raid event started with 3 new fire himes, SSR Ra and Argos in the gacha spotlight, and SR Fortuna as the event hime, so that's officially enough free fire himes to have a full SR frontline for that element.

So, huge update on the Kamihime shop with the addition of eidolon orbs.
You get them by selling eidolons.
R eidolons sell for 2 orbs.
SR sell for 30, including the Disasters.
SSR sell for 300.
Fodder, expectedly, sell for jackshit.

From now on, you ought to consider saving up any garbage SR eidolon you get from draws or dupe SSR drops from raids or advents, or generally things you don't plan to use, the shop has a bunch of nice shit in stock, and I'm assuming there's a monthly cap, because these items not restocking ever sounds like it's not as intended.
In any case, outstanding items in the shop are:
Dragon Eye fragments f or 1000 orbs
R and SR uncap items for weapons and eidolons for 100/500 orbs
Grimoires of both rarities for 500 and 1200 orbs.
EVERY raid Eidolon so far for 600 orbs, I'm assuming Amalthea will join the ranks once her event ends.
SSR Rings/Earrings for 700/1500 orbs
And the grind prize for 10000 (!) orbs each would be every element's Kaiser Dragoon

Also a new (maybe permanent or rotating?) event called Guild Order, which right now is about scoring mission points in an advent-esque gauntlet that ends in a LV75 Crom Cruach, with no elixirs allowed whatsoever.
I notice the rewards include an item called Orichalcum which might be used for the 4th uncap for event weapons, since they did say the method for doing these wouldn't be as traditional.

Is Garuda worth MLBing? I have no idea if I want to max the hammer or her.

The stat difference is completely negligible as it is. If you choose Warrior, You're looking at 26 more attack compared to Commander, 52 with SAW. However, Commander also buffs her own attack by 3%, closing in the difference to a pathetic 4. Warrior is shit. Don't rely on 20%.
Hold off to see if they buff Warrior if you're patient. You might as well level up a second Altia in that case, if your backlog isn't too cluttered.

Out of the 3 gacha blacks I've ever rolled, I was fortunate enough to get Deine and Aisha. But a level 80 awakened Deine can't even tank a mithril golem without Aisha's AW passive buffing her hp.
Just enough to leave Deine with 92hp after a hit.

Made a bit of a mistake with the eidolon orb sell rate, SSRs selld for 150 orbs, but for each uncap on an eidolon the value increases by its base amount.
It was late last night so I only tested it with a 1* Amaru that sold for 300, tested again with a fresh Illyankas and got 150 instead.

Each SSR dupe essentially paying for 1/33th of a Kaiser Dragoon felt too generous

Just tried Guild order off element (fire). Andro got hit x (3?) times by the multiple random charge attack on stage 4 and died. Got into stage 5 with no castable debuff immediately ready, still managed to get about 1/5th of the boss health before dying. Not sure if I would have managed to kill it had Andro not died anyways (rage charge attack seems to deal too much to survive without damage cut), but it certainly isn't intimidating to anyone who has the right element team ready.

Lights are generally garbage, yeah. They have a faster attack but that doesn't really mean a whole lot when most are literally paper.
Some have team buffs that make up for their lack of stats, but other tanks of the same rarity typically have stronger self buffs, which are more useful when they are part of the vanguard.

Yeah, I wouldn't try this off-element. Even the trash hits like trucks against Water, like that middle fucker on wave 2 who 1-shot one of my water KHs on the first day with a 13k burst attack. I still managed to survive to the end and clear it, but with only 3 still standing.

Today was a lot easier after knowing what to expect though. I'm done all the missions with specific conditions that require a full clear and just have the 'attempt x times' and 'beat battle 1/2/3 X times' missions left.

Host/leech other raids and try to get as many SR disasters as you can to sell to buy Tiamat, Reiki and Jormungandr on the shop.
Doing the currently running raid even would also work, I personally don't see Amaltheia as a good eidolon (sacrifices a LOT of attack for an irrelevant HP bonus, and her alternatives for 40% wind elem ATK are just better), you can get at least 1 copy with ease that sells for 150 orbs already.

It'll also let you get assorted fodder and some jewels here and there.

Do (leech) the raid event to get rewards (crystals, tickets, free hime etc.). Also leech Ragnarock water raids as soon as you can (not sure if you need to be a certain level to see them).

SR all assault (atk), defender (hp) only as filler until you have more assault. SSR preferably assault but you basically get what you can from water events.

Also to get this out of the way, you will probably be told to reroll for better starter SSRs (2 of them).

I started testing the waters halfway through Yata, made advent farming immensely easier vs. Expert.

The thing about character attack up is it works better when you're at an elemental advantage. Even then you'll want an elemental attack up for your 2nd support.
If you'll be maining wind (using it to fight elements other than lightning) you'll do better with two 40% elemental attack eidolons in off-element cases once your assault % goes over 80%. However, when you have an elemental advantage, even with 120% assault the 50% character attack is still slightly better than a 40% elemental attack, assuming your friend support is a 40% ele. Of course Jabberwock has the added bonus of increasing ability damage, but in terms of atk power that's basically how it breaks down. Just don't go dual Jabberwock in any case.

tl;dr she's good but not amazing and if you're going to use wind off-element she may fall behind after your grid is developed.

It's not too hard to come across gold CR fairies. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, I think they even gave one out every day for a week a while back. They're also in the labyrinth maps and you can get them from 3rd scene quests for any gold unit (not like most gold units are worth using them on).

I had like 11 of them the other day and used 3 to min-cost Katie after, so I still have 8 I'm doing fuck all with.

It should. I think AW Prince's buff is the only one that conflicts, and it conflicts with B.Iris's defense and Lapis's attack, I believe superseding both. At least as far as I can remember. Someone else probably knows better because I don't actually have B.Iris. But I'm pretty sure everything else stacks with anything else that doesn't have the same name.

Sorry, and to clarify that's B.Iris's skill defense, not her passive. Her passive should stack with everything.

If it's on Nutaku, it was only pretty recently, the early 2x didn't have it and I want to say it was only added in time for the last 2x. On DMM it was ages ago.

The other way around, B Iris (and probably Lapis) supersede Prince's passive aura. Although from what I remember, AW Prince changes it, and they stack together. Also, B Iris Skill, Aix, and Verdinath's skills all cancel each other out and only the highest applies.

It's actually not hard. Go through a few gold rushes, AW a few gold units, you'll get copies of her or gold cost reduction faries and you'll CR her in no time.
