Is the 5k coin gacha for DMM Kamihime worth? Doesn't seem like the ticket guarantees a character.

So we're getting a Garuda/Typhoon rerun? I don't particularly mind but, what the hell, isn't it a bit early to have reruns when dark/light have been neglected for a while now?

I guess the events being shifter plus the longass downtimes before raid events confirm no Koihime collab. Not that it needed confirmation.

But I like this change mainly for Garuda. We would have had another guild raid in about a month and then not a fucking single new wind event until Kyuuki likely next year which is then followed by this double rerun we're getting, Icarus raid and Kyuuki/Lilim rerun.
And I guess it helps themed events like Halloween and such line up better

Arthur's burst while self buffed deals more damage than a Sieg's hit on a break state enemy. Arthur's nuke deals about the same as Sieg's nuke as well. While Sieg can technically outdamage Arthur if she DAs/TAs, Arthur's skills can be used at any time, even at the beginning of the battle, which gives you more chances of using them multiple times before the battle is over instead of having to wait for the boss to enter rage/stun and risk missing them.

At higher assault levels Oceanus nuke will kick the boss out of break on 90% of the bosses, even off element with extended break debuffs, so you can't even use them together.

Unless they give Sieg some crazy number nuke like 8-10x, it will never be worth it to get her over Arthur. People are even choosing Solomon over her now that she got fixed and her weapon is out.

Even then she would be meh. It's like pre-fix Zeta in GBF, the only way to make her usable is to remove the stupid limiting condition (skill usable only on enemy in rage/break state) altogether and basically redo the character from scratch.

At the beginning i spent most charisma on story missions and stamina on challange quests (phalanx II) to get fodder, fairies and affection items fast. I also bought the exp and gold boost from the shop. You can spend your sc in the premium gacha to get some more units and reach 150sc in the first month so your next stamp card will be legend and give you a free plat unit. Do revival missions as needed to get more sc and some decent units. Never use sc to refill cha/sta. Some people do spend a bit sc to run item collection events tho. Black armor is exp fodder, you can use it with 3x black fairy to boost your amanda. Use it when she reaches 50cc50.

The token is a decent addition, but she only gets the one. And no other unit in this class will have it since that's her personal AW passive. The class still comes across as really fucking terrible to me. But at least maybe usable now.

Rate up are changed every week, rolling for specific blacks is only if you have about 150SC and are on the dmm version, even then don't count on it. If you see a plat you like with 150 SC you've got a great chance to get it.

There's "rates up", though I feel the final result is always up to your luck. You can save until the himeless SSR weapons are removed (which should be around Halloween, hopefully earlier) or when a hime you want/like is released.

For Souls, it all depends on your playtime. I've been playing actively since the release (March), and I have unlocked every single soul available. Raid events and advents will provide more than enough SP, on top of those from leveling up.

Go for either Arthur or D'art first. You will want Snipe from D'art as fast as possible. Next is entirely up to your needs (more heals - Andromeda, trivialize solo advents - Mordred etc).
For fire, we currently don't have the best SSRs (Daji, Mars, SSR Beelze), but Svarog (and maybe Ares) are ok.

Depends on multiple factors (luck being the biggest one).
If you're just starting, I believe they are still handing out 6k jewels (that's 2x10 rolls), so you can use that to reroll until you get at least 2 SSR (preferable of same element - the reroll is fast, and there's even scripts that speed the process up).
Then you can save jewels (so far, seems they were pretty generous, handing them out for server fuckups and regular events - one ongoing right now) for whatever other himes you want/need.

That's absolutely ridiculous. You can get an endgame-like grid (meaning it can effectively get you through all the content in the game) out of SR weapons (same as the SRs you get from normal/hard GBF raids to give you an idea of how easy they are to get). And by "get through" I don't mean barely winning, I mean autoing 90% of stuff and no chance of failing if you take the controls. You can easily get SSR weapons from events gradually and they're basically as good as P2P SSR weapons (slightly worse stats. No gizlas or other P2W weapons exist, no different types of skills with multipliers), and they are by no means -needed-. Events also give you some of the best summons (with the exception of the equivalent of Shiva etc.), they aren't trash like in GBF. Skilling up weapons takes at worse 1 lv 2 SSR weapon, not stuff like x thousands SSRs like for baha weapons or things like that. There is no farm for crafting until non-event Ragnas are introduced (equivalent to omega raids) and even then it's just some dozens of items that are guaranteed to drop each time. "GW characters" are unlocked just by getting points, again no farm. GW itself rewards little (no magic stone for LB summons).
So yeah I don't know who told you that, but they lied. I guess they probably botted their magna grids on GBF so it seemed easier.

There is no legfest. (Like it works, just rolled 60 times and got 1 SSR on GBF). They also never gift free 10 rolls, there's no periodic sup ticket or stuff like that. So that's true.
Eventually every non--GW event will get you enough for a 10x roll if you farm it enough though.

Nope, you cannot put together an SSR grid off events. That's the point. There is no progression, no -need- for progression. Once you've got your SR grid (lv 20), you're done. Everything else is just tweaking an already end-game grid. And you can get that much faster than waiting for magnafest to farm magna weapons/fodder, not to mention you'll need baha weapons, GW weapons etc.

Think of Rare weapons at SL as a 1.

Arcane Grails are worth 2.

Every skill level increases that value by the base value, so a SL 2 Arcane Grail would have 4 points of worth.

Using a (R) 1 to double a (R Grail) 2 to 4 is totally worth it.

Recommendation is to up any weapon you'll be using a skill fodder to skill level 4. Beyond that the efficiency beings dropping.

SR weapons have a base value of 4 if I remember right. SR Grails are worth 8.

SSR weapons are at 20 or 40, not sure.

She's gotten a few personal buffs along with the mage class in general on DMM, and she still has very high attack power along with some useful skills.

Given that you can't cost reduce Mord that easily, Odette generally has more power for the cost (almost 100 more at cap), but you'd most likely be comparing SAWs at that point. Mord would do double attack true damage for 45 seconds once and Odette would cut MR in half within extended range for 40 seconds every 70. Odette would be more useful against high MR enemies provided you have other magic users to take advantage of the MR cut, so it's hard to say Mord is outright better, but you'd probably want Mord for most situations.

Either way, it's always a good idea to have two or three mages, and I'd still recommend Odette to new players, personally. Honestly, those are the only two plat mages I've managed to get over a year and a half on DMM anyway. I usually roll with a SAW Mehlis, too, since she's in so many gold rushes.

At skill level 20, a SR weapon gives 13% attack.

Thanks for the answers. My (light) grid is currently all MLB SR's, with one MLB SSR, half of them in the SLv20 range, which, together with the eidolons gets me around 39k attack. With Snipe, on off-element, I hit for about 15k - 17k.
While I had no problems during Ixion/Apoc/Phoenix ragnaroks, I feel Garuda/Typhoon are much stronger, namely getting them in and out of rage (stun is long enough that if I reach it, I win) and I'm not sure if the problem lies within my overall HP (6-7k per hime) or the damage itself (probably a mix of both).

I went out and switched some weapons, the auto damage doesn't seem to change drastically (maybe gained 100 more damage), but burst damage seems to have taken a hit. (thousands)
Survival seems to be (one of) the biggest issues (Garuda easily hits me for ~4k AoE, even with 3 attack downs and a def up), but also the lack of defense downs that light has (plus having just Sol as the only SSR), which doesn't let me reach rage fast.

I've only ever rolled 2 blacks in the year I've been playing, and I'm on Nutaku Aigis. Should I hold out for lower quality that I want or just go for broke?

You're not likely to get the golds or plat on spotlight anyways on Nutaku so you may as go for broke and pray. I know I had 10 golds that weren't on spotlight when I wanted the gold and I've only ever hit the plat spotlight twice out of many plats.

So Karma, Koharu and White Emperor are the only 3 units that you can't have 2 of on the same team.
Wierd how Karma is one of them considering the differences between them.
