My first bullet hell was Mario forever. I enjoyed it quite a lot, doing cool jumps and dodges. Also first 2hu and shmup was MoF, IN is no longer babby's first 2hu.

I think for a first time 2hu player starting with IN is a bad idea because you won't appreciate it as much because you know none of the characters and the teams are meaningless
