Thank you! I put a lot of effort into it.
I know Japanese people love it almost as much as curry.
It's way too tedious to make yourself and getting all the ingredients you need can be very hard outside of Japan

Ew... too much oil
I'd eat it every day if I lived in Japan
>>17409531
That Jiro ramen is the best thing to ever happen

Naruto.

There's better ways to cook noodles, the average ramen seems like an orgy of ingredients that would spoil the next day so they were thrown all together in a soup
My favourite food by far. I make sure to eat it every other day when i'm in Japan. I legitimately think I would be alright eating only Japanese ramen for the rest of my life

That is dashi. It is only liquid boiled from it to book soup.

SKIM THE FUCKING FAT WHEN YOU MAKE THE BROTH/STOCK

It looks greasy and less presentable hell at least get rid of some of it and I guess stir the rest of it in.
fatty broth is for the poor working class
>>17418341
yeah but literally you can remove all that fat with the fucking ladle.
No excuse really.
people just like the flavor. I think it's a bit disgusting if there's too much
>>17418352
What kind of pleb doesn't like fatty broth?
>>17418544
people who were classically trained to make stock or broth.
Fatty broth is a very asian thing to do. All most all european cooking would tell you to remove any impurities
>>17419941
Is scum the impurities you talk about?
It is very important to skim off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water while cooking ramen soup.
>>17419941
Oil isn't an impurity
That I can't eat it and almost all Japanese food because I have Coeliac disease.
