Shogi, easily. Not only is Chess outnumbered and arguably, aside from the Queen, outmatched (particularly when Shogi gets their easy promotions against Chess), Shogi can zombify Chess's defeated pieces to fight against them. This is a final boss-tier battle for Chess. Only the heroic actions of the Queen leading her underlings to Chess's superior promotions can save the day now.

Actually the word "tunafish" generally refers specifically to dishes made of flaked or chunked tuna, usually originally canned. The animal itself is never called a tunafish.

I'd imagine the dropping of captured pieces would only apply to shogi pieces that are captured. Since chess pieces are not intended to return to play there is no way to discern chess piece is an enemy chess piece anyways.
Shogi pieces are designed to move forwards.
Attacked from behind shogi is weak.
Chess pieces have better mobility.
Theres no equal to a chess horse in shogi.
Chess starts with twice the rooks and bishops.
Chess pawns are more powerful.
Chese starts with a queen, a promoted dragon/horse hybrid stronger than any shogi piece.

This. Shogi can just lie back and necro pieces until Chess dies.
Chess? More like chiss. Shiss. Shit. More like shit.

>Shogi can zombify Chess's defeated pieces to fight against them.
This is actually backwards, Shogi pieces are designed to be turned around, they are traitors who will join the other side. Chess pieces are permanently in their own color, and can never be converted.
With this in mind Chess has the clear advantage.
