Would you play Touhou with Nioh style gameplay?

I don't know what Nioh style gameplay is but it looks too modern for me. I'd play it with Zone of the Enders 2 style gameplay though.

Nioh was the only single player game I have finished this year. It was good. Would play again.

Are there games from past few years with similar setting as Nioh? Toukiden is what I can think of but I am not really into Monster Hunter games.

I don't know what a Nioh style gameplay is, but I'd play a Witcher touhou.
Main plot being yet another moriya shrine conspiracy and you get to behead Kanako at the end of course.

Gameplay-wise: Nioh-style? lolno. Dark Souls-style? Definitely.

Nioh fucking sucks with it's piss-poor hit detection and stamina managment. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying DaS' hit detection and stamina were any better, it's just nowhere near as noticable as it is in Nioh.

In fact, every single Souls knockoff always has awful hit detection. I don't know what Miyazaki and his team does with their games, but no one else has been able to get the gameplay right. Not even B Team with their shitty DaS2.

Sorry for getting all autistic, but I just got The Surge and it turned out to be yet another crap Souls ripoff with half-assed combat. I really need to wasting my money on these fucking games.

I would play Touhou if I were talented but I'm not so it's not worth the thousands of hours it takes to get good
