With the whole Capella connection that's already been spoiled, I'd still say the chances are low. She probably doesn't have an Authority. However, it's quite likely that she's absorbed some kind of Witch fluid. The only clear ability that's granted her is her Miasma sense, but it may have other effects that can be activated.

The changes are really exaggerated by some people here and are just griping about things that don't matter. He still has moments when he's cool, still acts emotional and suffers a lot. it's just not always about same damn thing and so frequently that he comes off schizophrenic unintentionally. He's gotten mentality tougher as you expect him after Arc 3 instead just randomly breaking down which can get old while still displaying his wear when it's meaningful like at the Witches Tea Party, when everybody dies 2nd loop of Arc 4 while he's heavily injured or the Flavor of Death when he laments he's gonna die before Emilia instead of together. Even at the points where he simply doesn't know what to do are in the LN.

Well, I don't think it's the same substance. For most people. Capella's blood just kills them painfully. However, Subaru supposedly has some enhanced strength and can absorb the blood from others.

As for Rem? Rem can smell miasma. Most beings who do that are either spirits or mana constructs like Leweses. I'm actually wondering right now if Shaula might be an Oni too, and Capella was fucking around with the same kind of shit that gave her the ability to smell miasma. Adapted LN threads have been a thing for quite a while already, since the anime viewers frequently go to read the source after watching the anime, this happened to Haruhi, Spice and Wolf and other older adapted LNs.

LN generals have been a thing too, but those are much less frequent and sometimes get sent to /jp/ where they die.

I think he has potential in him for Ayamatsu, Rem IF and Echidna IF Subarus. They've turned into different people in the end, but they all hail from Subaru. And these Subaru's were created when a slight change/decision was made by someone else (Reinhard, Carmilla, Rem) other than Subaru, i.e. it's "coincidental" that Subaru didn't become them. He could have, but he didn't.
It's likely current Arc 6 Subaru would never be able to become Ayamatsu Subaru. Ayamatsu required desperation in solitude and this Subaru is both more resilient and has people to lean on.
But still, knowing that he could have become this and that he has this inside him, I think it'd disturb him greatly. He has never done anything like that in MU and I doubt he ever thought about himself like that.

Japanese fans don't seem to having this Like Rem=dislike Emilia atmosphere at least nowhere as much. Unlike here even some of most JP hardcore Remfags tweet Emilia fanart and official stuff. There no real correlation between Ottofags and them either you don't even see them retweet fan art or comments on him. Some of biggest Ottofags like Kanakana_reo, Cho_re0 are Emiliafags. I'm not talking twitter here. I have literally seen Japanese people discuss how bad Rem Vs. Emilia shipping wars have gotten in the past. I've seen people call Emilia a background character, or ""Mobmilia", in a very hostile tone and receive an equal about of bile in return. I have seen the mocking responses to any time people bring up how popular Emilia would be sure to become after a Season 2.

I have seen people compare Otto to Rem favorably, while being noticeably dismissive of Emilia. Their "Rempigs" have a reputation for being zealous and obsessive. I have seen the discussion in that one poll, and just how shit it got.

Don't tell me what twitter is like. Not everyone discusses things the same way as twitter does.

This is flawed reasoning for this very points . Rem doesn't just have higher votes than Emilia but out every other character regardless of status. Subaru also an MC who getting beaten out by side character 6 arcs in so that logic applies to him. And before you try it that excuse he's but supposed be unlikable doesn't hold, because

1) it only applied to end of 2nd half of Arc 3 where Tappei then made him likeable and everyone turned their tune around on him calling him awesome and one of better isekai MCs

2) He's still an MC.

Side characters beating out MC's even a new or uncommon thing so I don't when this started being used as excuse here. At very least with Japanese fans, the don't hate Emilia or any other characters when they vote Rem in these polls, they just have high attachment to because of Arc 3 and no other particular reason. They probably don't see this as an either or thing.

The mainbase of Re:Zero is on twitter and other mainsites not dank forums like 4chan or 2ch who don't interact with author. I'm not use them as example of anything but minority of fanbase just as here. Even then Emilia comes 2nd and Otto barely ever reaches top 4. I'm not use closed community inhabited by particular bunch of people which doesn't have much diversity and who threads are dead compared to a much wider one as baseline of how people feel. Twitter does not consist of fujos. The majority of Rem fanart you guys post here are coming from male artists like Yasu00kamiki or shakerizero who hang out there. LN and WN also readers hang out there and discuss the series. Tappei isn't going to 2ch get opinions on his work from them on anything so even twitter would have more influence on him if came down to it.

Honestly this just a meme at this point. The community on twitter has just much discussion an new WN and LN volume comes out. They also make comics and videos about various scenes in the series. They discuss the series in a different way, but no less than 2ch and much less divisions. People like both Emilia and they like Rem over there which fosters better and more expansive community due inclusiveness and cross fandom discussions. I didn't say the fandom on twitter consisted of artists though. There more just artists who discuss on there and artists themselves are fans before being artists so you shouldn't generalize the fandom that way.

My point that fandom twitter is much bigger, less toxic and just as discussion orientated but done differently. They are have advantage being able to directly engage with the creator, it's how he's answering those Q&As nowadays. It's not being narrow as already acknowledge 2ch's smaller community but simply can't compete against the twitter for obvious logistical reason in terms of being a hub of exchange.

If you can read Japanese, I'd suggest giving the WN a try. Though I'd also suggest reading both. There are some things I liked better about each version.
