Very good roll, Elyse is preferable in most situations but Ex has better placement options, her passive is incredible, and her permanent skill is neat for these rare times where 85 seconds of nigh-invulnerability to physical damage just doesn't cut it.

Also, just noticed that maids are getting their 2AW, with an offensive/defensive split in their classes. I hope this gives Dev Tea an excuse to make more maids, the class has a lot of unexplored potential. Stable maid that makes bowriders generate UP with kills and gives pegasus riders even more skill uptime? Tank maid that gives HP regeneration, damage reflection, nullification and other goods to heavies/mage armors/royal guards/paladins? Maid maid that doubles the class passives of all other maids in your team, so that vanilla Prince has -8 cost with Sarah? The possibilities are endless.

Get Chydis (the healer) for sure. She's got some serious healing power and is very easy to use in any situation due to being incredibly straight-forward.

Also consider picking up Lychee (the mage armor) if you don't already have a mage armor you like more. She's pretty good for a gold unit and can be really defensive if you choose to SAW. I mean she's cheap enough at only 70 crystals, so it's worth considering. Also, she's super cute and one of my favorite units.

Only because there are four maids and one of them is a sapphire unit that benefits a single target. They also suffer somewhat from buffing closely related, interchangeable classes, so you're unlikely to deploy, say, multiple mages/bishops/summoners to take advantage of Sherry's passive.

I still think the idea behind the class is solid, there's no reason a "basic class" maid that targets soldiers/archers/heavies/healers or a monster girl fanatic that targets angels/demons/youkai/undead wouldn't be support units with widespread application. Blacksmiths are basically updated maids too, and Sandy is useful for pretty much every team.

If they make a nonhuman maid, you can bet she's going into a stupid new class that is exactly the same as maids but counts as youkai, though.

I think what upsets me the most about sapphires is that even when they get class-wide buffs, they still get really shitty ones. And they never get fixed. Just look at the chrono witch. Her skill became a class trait and they never even gave her a new skill. Or look at the monster tamer. You have Mortena, who is an amazing unit after SAW, and then you have Suil, who is garbage no matter what you do to her.

I get that they're usually prototypes for the class, but for God's sake, some balance should be called for here.

At least some of the newer ones like the angel and dragon princess have been decent, but probably only because they had an existing class blueprint to work off of.

Even if the other eidolons become obsolete due to better event ones, Kaisers won't ever be since they're sub summons with high stats and a good call effect that will continue to scale up with your team and content.

Sure, in stats, but the call effect blows away any event eidolon's. Even at LB0 and a slight stat loss, the on-element 30% damage cuts will still be useful against things like solo Raid Rag event missions where you have to kill the boss with a specific element, accessory quest stage 4, and maybe even the new challenge solo quests that are coming. I also don't see event raid boss HP staying below 10-15mil forever.

Finally managed 1000 kills on the domination mission, most fun I've had with Aigis in a long time.
Used double warrior priestess (Ellete, Flamel) and double ninja (Saki, Nagi), which is a damn nice change of pace, from being able to clear a whole event by deploying Prince, Spica&Bashira and a healer, and calling it a day.

Really hoping for more challenging content in the future like this.

They are praising non-MLB kaisers, and stating that kaisers are OP sub summons and one of the good SSRs to pull after they got buffed. They're already useable at base, and the same or better than top tier event MLB summons at only 1 uncap. Of course people are going to talk about those amazing stats, but somehow you take that as meaning MLB? It's just more examples of how you only interpret things the way you want to, and it's even easier to do because it's in a different language that you have limited knowledge of, like the game itself.

You know, maid 2AW giving stat boosts/block to maids is a pretty bad move. I mean, here's a new update for your dedicated support class, except instead of loading more buffs onto units you actually want to use, they get to become a sub-par duelist or a sub-par tank instead.

Would something like 10% attack to masters for battle maids and 10% HP to masters for armor maids have killed them? If you wanted to be a little more fancy, you could even toss a Rinne-style "if a master is defeated and the maid is on field, retreat the maid and return master to full HP" role to armor maids. You'd also have to switch Shirley's class since her targets have little use for HP, but this isn't a problem because there's nothing that visually distinguishes battle maids and armor maids.

As things stand now, the only benefit to maid 2AW is picking battle maid for Sarah so that you can give an effective -2 CR to AW Prince.

Aside from Sarah, none of the maids buffed their masters with their skill. They were a sub-par combat unit ever since their inception, and 2AW chose to improve that aspect of theirs. Blacksmiths are the dedicated buff-your-main-units class that you're thinking of.

I'd argue that Irene actually got the most out of this batch. Her attack is now identical to Miruno's during her skill, although Irene does lose to her in every other department. Sarah dodging 2 targets at a time will probably be useful as well.

Their class gimmick is all about their masters though, they could block some middling enemy in a pinch but only in the same way that Katie blocks early goblins sometimes. I don't think anyone used them for combat except in fringe cases like Furfur/golem tanking with Sarah.

As for blacksmiths, they are altogether a disgusting class because they are what maids are supposed to be, with meaningful buffs and a greater number of target classes (so that you're actually likely to have some of them). There's virtually no reason Sandy and Gordo couldn't be maids, but Aigis loves adding unnecessary classes so here we are.

And just to add insult to injury, Irene didn't get her glasses back with her new art. Maids got by far the worst 2AW batch for that alone.

I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine maid from the Dark Guild for 2,400,000 gold (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with her for almost 2 years now. I can even assassinate unscrupulous guild usurpers with my maid.

The Kingdom's scullery maids spend years in service of a single master and hone their housework up to a million times to produce the finest domestic servants known to mankind.

Maids are thrice as useful as soldiers and hit thrice as hard for that matter too. Any map a soldier/archer/healer set-up can handle, a maid and a squad of her masters can take down better. I'm pretty sure Sarah could easily bisect a level 15 Furfur wearing full plate with a simple halberd slash.

Ever wonder why the monster hordes never bothered conquering the Prince's kingdom? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined maids and their amazing support passives. Even in the Millennium War, the majin targeted the women with maid headdresses first because their supporting power was feared and respected.

So what am I saying? Maids are simply the best class that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in Aigis. Here is the stat block I propose for 2AW maids:

Battle Maid
+1200 HP
+260 attack
+100 defense
Masters have +10% attack and defense
During skill use, 30% of the maid's stats are added dancer-style to each master on field
Wears glasses (very important)

Armor Maid
+1800 HP
+60 attack
+240 defense
If a master is defeated and the maid is on field, the maid retreats and master is restored to full HP
Retreated maids can be redeployed after a cooldown period

Now that seems a lot more representative of the utility of maids in real life, don't you think?

A new player can do everything.
Outside of the log in for 5 days (for obvious reasons) and doing 7 dailies (as there's only 4 dailies per day), everything else can be done in a single day in 2 hours maybe.
You basically just click and things happen when doing quests until a raid spawns, then you just tap it (for no BP consumption) and share it so whales can kill every raid for you, which will still count as your win, and killing 3 raids already checks out a weekly, the other weekly you'll likely clear is another for getting 1000 exp which will be easy because no AP is consumed doing quests until you hit 50.
The exterminatory battle shit is just the event quests, you can put the raiding on hold by spawning one, ignoring it, and just clicking through the stages until you clear them all.
And even if you do end up running out of AP you get 1 daily full refill and like 30 free AP potions just for starting out.

Dailies are nothing out of the ordinary other than the one for joining a conquest battle, but you can just ignore it both days and just do another daily on the 3rd day (out of enhancing something once, getting 300 exp, and starting and finishing a raid).
You don't even have to join a guild or anything and you can drop the game as soon as you're done.

sure the quest is boring as fuck and the ranking events pretty much requires you to either whale your ass or go nolife but conquest battles *can* be fun if you get yourself in an active guild with decent people. Had a blast in my old guild planning strategies and to deal with whale guilds.

Also, the supporting cast in the game is pretty great. Way better than Kamipro at least imo.

Well, Cyclamen is still a worthy third and there's nothing preventing them from commissioning Arikawa Satoru for a new version. She's definitely the best LN girl, even though Cocklebur now offers some very tough competition for lolidom fanatics.

Speaking of the LNs, wonder what they will make now that all the countries are covered. There's still Kodaibana, but an expedition to it would be too gloomy for an LN setting, so a new batch of LNs for each country is my guess.

Both are good. Not sure if you're Nutaku or DMM and I'm also not sure if Nutaku got the update since their balance patches are so sporadically added, but a while back on DMM they added a 5% attack bonus to her AW passive that gives her almost dead even attack with Spica, provided both are in the party and AW. It's a big boost to her Triple Shot, and also to her SAW whenever Nutaku gets that.

Claire's a much more basic archer but she's also good for AW due to her skill choices and 10% triple shot on normal attacks.

So I followed the advice on the last last thread and CC'd Iris and Bashira. I can now clear the 上級 maps, but I have problems 3starring them.
What do you guys do against the initial unit rush? Most the time 1-2 units gets through and I don't have enough unit points to deploy another unit.
Here's my current team.

I also followed the other advice and rolled the gatcha 20 times. I got 8 silvers, 9 gold, 1 plat and 2 blacks. Are any of these units good/worth raising? I still have 6 Alegria spirits.

That's some great luck. All three are excellent (although somewhat specialized) units, and definitely worth raising after you solidify your core.

The cannoneer can hit nearly the entire map with her regular skill and has true damage with her SAW, but uses projectiles (bad against fast-moving enemies), has high cost, and comes with wonky skill timers that may let you down when you least expect it. The monster slayer has 400 range, a fantastic passive (+10% attack to all ranged units while deployed, plus more attack to herself) and 4x attack against some of the most common and annoying enemy types in the game (angels and demons) with her SAW, making her an excellent choice in many top-tier maps that are full of demons. The nurarihyon has a permanent skill that makes her untargetable, allowing you to deploy her wherever you like and slowly melt enemies that stay stationary for a long time. She's an excellent subjugation unit and a good buffer for the youkai faction as well, if you happen to get some of these.

As for your golds, Yuyu is a good unit to raise, you'll want a witch sooner or later. I wouldn't really bother with the rest, though Alegrias are dime a dozen so you can experiment with whomever you like.
